One of most anticipated tentpoles of the year, Jr NTR-starrer Devara, will be associating with two powerful north heavyweights – Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Anil Thadani’s AA Films – for Hindi distribution. They are notable for their successful distribution of Prabhas-starrer Baahubali in the northern belt.

“Happy to join forces with the dynamic distributors of our country, Karan Johar and AA Films for the North India theatrical distribution of #Devara! Looking forward to a thunderous release on 10th October 2024!” team Devara wrote on X on Wednesday, while attaching a group picture which included Tarak, film’s writer-director Koratala Siva, Karan Johar, Anil Thadani and Apoorva Mehta (CEO of Dharma Productions).

Dharma Productions wrote, “Brace yourself for a mass hurricane! We are proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema!”

Set against the backdrop of forgotten lands of coastal India, Devara, an action-entertainer, marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor, while Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko and Murali Sharma are playing other supporting roles. It is a joint production venture between Mikkilineni Sudhakar’s Yuvasudha Arts and Hari Krishna Kosaraju of NTR Arts, with Anirudh Ravichander rendering music. The film’s shooting is in the final leg.
