Leading producer Dil Raju has dropped a major update about his ambitious production venture, Game Changer, starring global star Ram Charan. He said the film will be ready to release in another five months. “I’m testing you peoples (fans) patience but we have to remain patient before a cyclone like Game Changer arrives. It is coming after RRR… Ram Charan is now a global star… To meet his range, Shankar is carving out every scene and song with meticulous perfection. If you wait for another four-five months, it would come closer to release. The shoot will be wrapped up in a couple of months,” the producer said. He was speaking at the birthday celebrations of Ram Charan in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
He added, “We’ve released Jaragandi song today. What you’ve witnessed in the song is just two percent of the visuals. Shankar garu saved the remaining 98 percent for the theatres. If you watch the song in theatres, you’ll realize it's worth. Not just this song, five other songs have been designed per Shankar’s grand vision. For fans, three songs will not let you sit in your seats. You will be tempted to dance. So for five more months, don’t berate me. I’m reading your comments about updates but I cannot give you any. Shankar garu has to give me his nod. I can’t promise any leaks with the film.”
Game Changer is about an honest IAS officer who wages a battle against political corruption through fair elections to usher in a change in the game of governance. Charan is playing dual roles–of father and a son. The film, also featuring Kiara Advani, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Sunil, Naveen Chandra, Pridhvi, Vennela Kishore, Satya and Priyadarshi, is a Thaman musical.
