Natural star Nani on Tuesday dropped the trailer of Navdeep-starrer Love Mouli. “Wishing the extremely talented @pnavdeep26 a huge success for his special film #LoveMouli A tale of one man’s journey for love and a stunning treat for the eyes. All the very best to the entire team,” he wrote, attaching a link to the trailer.

Over four minutes long, the trailer opens with a stunning shot of a waterfall before it introduces Mouli (Navdeep) who is trying to scale the waterfall with a rope. He is a painter who talks through his paintings. He says his heart is a cave which doesn’t allow light during bright sunshine. He is someone who constantly lives on the edge, treating life as an adventure to be explored and experienced. His friend says he lives in his own bubble and doesn’t understand reality. “You have no clarity on the kind of woman you want to love,” she berates him. He rebuts her, saying he knows. He is clear: he wants a woman who understands his heart and lives with him. He later draws a painting of a girl he wants to fall in love with and in the next frame she pops up in front of him. Their romance takes centre stage for a while before cracks appear in their bond due to differences. He is shown serenading two more women afterwards. Will Mouli be able to find the true love that he is yearning for seems to form the crux of the story!

With visuals that resemble a painting, Love Mouli promises an emotional roller-coaster. Navdeep seems to have nailed the part, transforming from a calm nature-loving painter to man who is unable to get what he desires in a relationship. Govind Vasantha’s background score is lively and equally soothing.

Directed by Avaneendra and jointly produced by Cspace, Nyra Creations and Srikara Studios, Love Mouli sails into cinemas on April 19th.
