The trailer of Paarijatha Parvam, featuring Chaitanya Rao, Harsha Chemudu and Sunil, was released by the makers on Wednesday. The film is written and directed by Santosh Kambhampati, while Mahidhar Reddy and Devesh have jointly produced it under Vanamali Creations.
A little over two minutes, the trailer opens with Sunil, a don, issuing a diktat to abduct the wife of an influential man on her birthday. “Lights will go off during the cake cutting ceremony. Before they are restored, the kidnap should be accomplished,” he says. The task falls on the shoulders of two youngsters played by Chaitanya Rao and Harsha Chemudu and they accept the job out of their need for money. As they go about the job, the plan goes haywire and before they realize multiple men and women are dragged into it. All this action transpires while a peppy rap plays in the background, indicating the lighthearted nature of the film. The trailer ends with a hilarious monologue of Harsha mimicking a popular Youtuber, who is known for his exaggerated film reviews outside a popular multiplex in Hyderabad, to perfection.
Overall, the trailer promises an amusing comedy entertainer packed with twists and turns. The lead characters' desperation and their subsequent actions are bound to leave you in stitches. The director seems to have perfectly tapped Chaitanya and Harsha’s comedy timing, while Sunil seems to be playing a grave role from which comedy generates.
Also featuring Shraddha Das, Malavika Satheesan, Srikanth Iyyengar, Surekha Vani and Sameer, the film hits the cinema halls on April 19th.
