The success of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona has done a world of good to Sundeep Kishan. One of the promising talents from the industry, he had gone through a rough phase for more than three years with films like Tenali Ramakrishna BA. BL, A1 Express, Gully Rowdy and Michael failing to light up the box office. But all that has changed overnight with the good showing of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, which was directed by his good friend Vi Anand.

Now, Sundeep has become a sought-after property but he is treading a cautious path, choosing to green-lit films that are headlined by proven names. Additionally, his dance card is a mix of genres which tap into the actor in him.

His immediate release would be Mayaa One with CV Kumar. It will be followed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s next and sources say it’s a proper popcorn entertainer that the director is branded for. Then there is Vibe with Swaroop RSJ who burst on to the scene with the very impressive Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. The first look of the film was unveiled recently and if anything, he has a winner in hand, promising a hitherto unseen Sundeep. Vibe is a college-based action love story that narrates the tale of a student and his friends from being novices to becoming rebels.

The actor has also shot for Dhanush-starrer Tamil flick Raayan where he is playing a supporting role. It’s his second collaboration with the national-award winning actor after Captain Miller.

And then he will be teaming up with venerated filmmakers Raj & DK for The Family Man season 3, where he will reprise his role as Major Vikram Vaid. The series is believed to be in pre-production now. All in all, it’s an envious line-up to have.
