Ladies and gentlemen buckle up your seatbelts because Double ISMART is here. The teaser of the much-awaited Double ISMART, spearheaded by Ram Pothineni, released on Wednesday morning and it promises to be an adrenaline-packed ride.
The near one-and-a-half-minute teaser opens in a lab where a scientist (Makarand Deshpande) and his team of assistants are examining Double ISMART (Ram). Double ISMART’s funda is simple – flirt with a hot chick and dance to a superb beat. We are later introduced to Sanjay Dutt as the Big Bull who commands a private army. He looks menacing and doesn’t hesitate to kill anyone who comes in his way. There’s Ali – a Puri’s staple – for raising the humour quotient and his getup is enough to bring a smile on your face. And in ISMART’s world, there are several other interesting characters that promise an ambience of passion and power. While we have to watch out for the faceoff between Double ISMART and The Big Bull, the teaser ends on a spiritual note with a massive Shivlingam where the former takes on a volley of adversaries.
Packed with a lot of action, typical powerful dialogues of Puri and zippy music, Double ISMART promises to be a paisa vasool popcorn entertainer with double the energy and double the flamboyance of Ram, who seems to have had a ball reprising Shankar. Dutt, in his proper Telugu debut, seems to have raised hell.
Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, the film, a Mani Sharma musical, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages later this year.
