The anticipated glimpse of Kanguva, starring Suriya, was dropped by production house Studio Green on Tuesday and truth to be told it is outstanding.
The near one-minute sizzle gives a glimpse of the grand visual spectacle that Kanguva is with its breathtaking visuals and unexplored world. From the culture of various tribes to Suriya preparing himself to battle a tiger to a fleet of boats in choppy waters, the world is wild and rustic, promising a never before and larger-than-life experience. It ends with an epic faceoff between Suriya and Bobby Deol’s parts. Looking menacing, both seem to be playing the heads of two warring tribes.
Visually, the film soars, while the action, with a raw flavor to it, is on a different level altogether. The VFX seems to have seamlessly blended with the narrative while the production values are opulent. The background score by Devi Sri Prasad is pulsating, with the sizzle overall promising to be an adrenaline-fueled experience.
Studio Green, in association with UV Creations, is producing Kanguva, which has the tagline ‘A mighty valiant saga’. Made on a staggering budget, it will be released in 3D and in 10 different languages. Vedalam fame Siva is the writer-director. Part of the film’s story is also set in the present times.
