The trailer of Konchem Hatke, Directed by Avinash Kumar and Written by Krishna Ravuri, was released at VNRVJIET (Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering &Technology) College in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Featuring fairly unknown faces in the lead roles, the movie promises to take you on a wild ride with its situational humour, the premise and whacky characters.

Spanning close to three minutes in length, the trailer opens with a director trying to make a raw crime thriller, with his crew completely in non-sync with his vision, while in another track, an NRI woman returns to India to pursue her passion for filmmaking. There’s an actor who is madly in love with a woman. He is nursing ambitions to be a main lead. While the director’s antics occupy a major share of the trailer, how all the characters from different walks of life cross paths and embark on making an indie film while encountering multiple obstacles on their way seem to form the gist of the story.

Rounding up, the trailer with indie spirit is given a natural treatment, while the dialogues are colloquial. It’s sprinkled with a dash of romance as well. The humour that emanates from the situations that the characters see themselves is on point, while the actors (Guru, Ishwarya & Manjusha) keep the proceedings real.
