With Ambajipeta Marriage Band behind him, Suhas has now shifted attention to the promotions of Prasanna Vadanam, his next, directed by Arjun YK. The film’s teaser was released in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The one-minute-38-second teaser opens with an injured Suhas unable to recognize the picture of his parents, much to the shock of his friend (played by Viva Harsha) as a doctor (Harsh Vardhan) briefs Suhas about his condition. Visuals of multiple characters played by Nandu, Payal Radhakrishna, Rashi Singh, Goparaju Ramana and others who have a connection with Suhas dot the narrative with their faces blurred soon after, indicating that the protagonist is unable to recognize them due to his condition called face blindness. There are some bad elements at play here – due to whom Suhas’ life is turned upside down and later he is admitted in a hospital. How he exerts revenge on them while battling the condition seems to form the crux of the story.
Overall, the teaser with its interesting and intriguing plot and uplifting score promises a riveting thriller that keeps the audience at the edge of their seats. Suhas should be lauded for choosing a niche subject once again and giving it his all.
