Azaad CD is priced at Rs 100/-
Supreme audio seems to be realizing the importance of bottom lines It has priced it's latest film, Azaad's audio at an affordable price of Rs 100/- per copy. After receiving amazing response for the ill planned Vamsi CD priced at RS 50/- per copy, Supreme seems to have tasted the success through record sales, which prompted it to come out with a pricing of s 100/- for Azaad cassette and there by creating a win to win situation and waging a head-on war on Aditya Music, which is the leader of creating more sales by pricing stuff at an affordable rate. Looks like days have come in Telugu audio, where cassette is going to be an item of archeologist's interest.
Mallikharjun AKA Battala satti shaking leg with Raasi for 3 songs
Way back in 1993, SV Krishna Reddy did an experiment to avoid an embarrassment and it worked. When Rajendra Prasad was dillydallying about doling his dates to one of the 'Mayalodu' songs, SV Krishna Reddy gone ahead by picturing the rain song meant for Rajendra Prasad on Babu Mohan. And that song went on become the chart topper by catapulting Babu Mohan as a crazy comedian.
After 7 years EVV is repeating the same. He is putting three special songs for the comedian Mallikharjuna Rao for the film 'Ammo Okato Thaariku'. All these three songs are proper romantic songs canned in a professional way between Mallikharjuna and Raasi on lavish sets erected in Padmalaya Studios. These songs are directed by Dance Master Siva Subramanyam. This film is being produced by Mahendra of AA Arts and directed by EVV Satyanarayana.
Vamsee CD's are sold out as Supreme released combination CD's
Thanks to the the Rs 50/- pricing of Vamsee CD. All the CD are sold out in less than week and created an Audio record. Supreme audio is quick to capitalize the craze by stopping the production of Vamsee CD's and start the distribution of combination CD that is priced at RS 250/-. It's hard to see the combination CD's come so soon. The people who are coming to buy Vamsee CD's are utterly disappointed by the turn of events and reverting back to buy the cassettes of Vamsee at a rate of RS 45/-. Vamsee, the film that is making waves for all the wrong reasons is going to be released on 29th September. Hopefully the producers do not give the area rights to two distributors so that the same film can be show for RS 5/- in one theater and for RS 50/- in another in a center.
Supreme
playing dirty tricks to sabotage Mani Sharma's Mahati Recording
Do
you know the price of Mahesh Babu's latest film Vamsi's Audio
CD? It's a mere Rs 50/- (Fifty only). And the price of the
audio cassette? Its RS 45/-. If you have a CD player, what
do u prefer? a CD. Right!
Do
you think Supreme is playing the role of Santa Claus to popularize
the usage of CD's in the market. If you think so, you are
mistaken. It was the same Supreme audio that priced the CD
of Chiru's Iddaru Mitrulu' at an astronomical price of RS
275/- where are it's competitor Aditya Music was minting money
by selling the CD's of Premakatha and Raja at a price of RS
150/-.
All
this drama of pricing Vamsi CD at 50 is to kill the market
of Vamsi cassettes that are distributed by Mahati of Mani
Sharma. The audio rights are shared between Mahati and Supreme.
Supreme got the rights of CD and Mahati got the rights of
Cassette. There seems to be some dispute over the rights of
Vamsi audio. In order to teach Mahati a lesson, Supreme is
playing the role of monopolistic company. In the past Mahati
did a terrific business by grabbing Annayya Cassette rights.
Sabdalaya of MS Reddy grabbed the CD rights.
Audio
of Moodu Mukkalata Released
Raghavendra
Rao is trying for the third time to give jagapati babu a hit.
Their earlier films 'Allari Premikudu' and 'Srimati Kavali'
turned out to be damp squibs at Box-office. Jabapati Babu's
contention to become a cameo lover boy too did not succeed
in the past as he played a playboy kind of roles in 'Allari
Premikudu' and 'Chilaka Kottudu'. This film too sports three
regular heroines Soundarya, Rambha and Raasi. We got to wait
and see if his can break the jinx of his family hero image
with this film.
Audio
function of this film was held on 28th July at Mayuri Films
office. This function was graced by jagapati babu, Rambha,
Raasi, Prakash Raj, MM Srilekha, Raghavendra rao, Brahmanandam
and AVS. Music for this film is provided by MM Srilekha. Audio
of this film is distributed by Mayuri Audios
