Nobody took a note of Prakash Raj in Telugu until Vinodam happened. Nobody knew the name of Sunil, till he got a break as 'Banthi' in Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav. Surya had to do various roles for a decade to get much-deserved recognition with a comic character in Premaku Velayara. Likewise, there are a lot of strugglers in the industry who try hard to get a break inspite of having abundant talent. They might impress you in small characters in many films, but you might not know their names.

Our new section Future Favorites is aimed at introducing (and sometimes reintroducing) such talented artistes who shine in many cameos but are still waiting to get a right break. Will they be your future favorites? Well, take a look and wish them good luck!

Background: My father V Koteswara Rao is a film distributor for Pallavi Films in Vijayawada for Krishna District region. He distributed about 85 films out of which most of the films are blockbusters from Legend NTR (Lavakusa, Vetagadu, Srikrishna Pandaviyam, Talla Pellama?). I was very much interested in acting in films since 1984. I am a diehard fan of Superstar Krishna. My father distributed 'Tene Manasulu' (1st film of Superstar Krishna) for Krishna Dist. Superstar Krishna came to my father's office one day. Hordes of Krishna fans came to my father's office to get a glimpse of Krishna. Then I realized the charisma and glamour film industry possesses. I was then drawn towards the glamour of cinema field.

Joining the film industry

I wanted to enter film industry, but my father did not want me to be in the industry because he knows that it's tough. Hence I sold my bike and came to Hyderabad by telling my parents that I got a job in Hyderabad.

With in 15 days after coming to Hyderabad, I got my first assignment in the film 'Youth' as an artist. But unfortunately that film has not seen the day of light yet. Tamil superstar Vikram acted as hero in that film.

Since then I had film offers continuously. But I had a gap of 6 months between Raghava and Allari.

First Remuneration: Rs. 450/- (1 hour work for Youth film)
Latest Remuneration: Rs 42,000/- (for 11 days for Raghavendra film)

Forthcoming film: I have done the introduction fight in Pawan Kalyan's 'Johnny'. I am expecting a good break through this film.

The people who encouraged me: Nivas (Dialogue writer of Allari) and Ravi Babu (director of Allari)

Aim: My aim is to become an established villain and a versatile character artist.
