Manisharma is today the biggest name in Tollywood music.Manisharma and his troupe performed one of the most successful shows outside India so far at Virginia on July 8th, 2006.

Manisharma is a renowned composer, musician,and music director. He spoke to Music lovers and came across as an incredibly humble, modest and unassuming human being. Despite being credited with having given a new dimension to Telugu music, he wears none of the trappings of stardom. "Music speaks, statements do not", he says. His inspirational, infectious songs have won him worldwide fans and praise in AndhraPradesh.

The show was organised by Satish Vemana(TANA Regional Vice President,2006-2007) and his teams as a fund raising concert for the construction of Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Virginia.GWTCS and other music lovers supported the show.The show was Coordinated by Jagadish Prabhala, Neil Mudigonda and RaviShankar.

1st time in history of SV temple such a huge fund raising was organised and the event went on to be a Grand mega success.Experts and Audiences say this show had more sound and organised team work than ATA function at Los Angeles.

About the Show Manisharma show was electrifying and mindblowing.He Enthralled 1500 Audience with his latest Music numbers from Indra, Tagore, Kushi, Pokiri, Okkadu, Naraishma Naidu etc...

Gangadhar and Sunitha introduced Manisharma and his technicians to the cheering crowd.Sai and Karthik on drums, Chinna on keyboard, Raghava and Balaji on sound mixing and Vinod on guitar enthralled the audience with their coordination.Music lovers were captivated with the Sound provided by Moses and his team.

Mallikarjun, Vinod Babu, Gangadhar, Sunitha and Usha with their enchanting voices completely transformed the audience to a different world.Every song was applaused and the crowd was uncontrollable with dances and whistles. Manisharma garu and his teams got a standing ovation for their music and fast beats.

SivaReddy comedy show was also a huge success along with Manisharma garu show.

Sree Yedla Hemaprasad appreciated everyone that made this event a success, saying that he had not seen such an impressive event in all his 30-year stay in the USA! Also, he extended a formal invitation to Siva Reddy for TANA 2007. Sree Venkateswara Lotus Temple Committee Members Sree Seshacharyulu and Sree Saikanth Raparla explained the various events the temple was going to conduct. Member of Parliament of India Sree V. Hanumantha Rao, APSRTC Board Chairman Sree Gone Prakasha Rao, Messrs Nadella Gangadhar, Bucchi Ramprasad, Jai Talluri, and Ravi Potluri also graced the event. Free dinner was arranged by the collective effort of Mayuri Indian Cuisine, Spices, Sarama Palace, and Banjar Indian Cuisine, as their contribution to the noble cause of the temple.

Sree Satish Vemana thanked the Planning Committee members Sree Venkatesh Abburu and Sree Subbarao Kolla, Cultural Committee members Sree Venugopala Reddy Janga, Narendar Reddy Eluru, and Trilok Kantheti for their great efforts and execution of tasks in a short time. He also thanked Kishore Chennupati, Raj Bommaneni, Prof. Mohan Venigalla, Sreenivas Tunuguntla, and Mahesh Gorle for garnering funds, and Sree Satya Surapaneni, Dr. Naren Kodali, Sree Pattabhi Boyinapalli, Sree Ravi Kanuri, and Sree Ravi Mullapudi,Anjan, Manmohan,Pradeep Nooguru,Ramakanth Koya,GWTCS EC,Temple Management,Srinivas Palakurti,Srinivas Anumolu, Idlebrain,Nagendhar Madhavaram,for making the event a great success. Satish Vemana also thanked Jagadish Prabhala for coordinating the event and bringing the music troupe to DC.

Troupe Organisers wanted to present the biggest show in US ever with great night of celebration and music in coming years.
