The hit pair of Chitram, Uday Kiran and Reema Sen play the
lead roles in this film. The film has a refreshing storyline
while depicting the childhood friendship, which binds the
boy and girl in their adulthood.
Venu
(Uday Kiran) grows up into a young man under the care of Mohan
(Chandra Mohan). Sruthi (Tanu Roy) stays for sometime in Malaysia
and returns to India to take up a post in a TV channel. She
notices one day Venu fighting with some goons. When police
try to book Venu, Sruthi interferes and gets him released
by saying that she has evidence on tape that she filmed.
Sruthi
starts writing a novel in a popular weekly narrating her own
story, recounting all the childhood incidents. The title of
the novel is the title of the film 'Manasanta Nuvve'. Though
it gains good readership, Venu fails to notice the story,
while his sister becomes a fan of Sruthi.
Meanwhile
Anu (Tanu Roy), the daughter of Magazine's editor (Paruchuri
Venkateswara Rao), gets attracted to Venu. She presents Venu
with 'antique watch', which is a symbolic memento of friendship
between him and Srithi. Sruthi realizes that Venu is indeed
her childhood friend. The drama then takes many a twist and
turn to reach the climax scene.
Uday
Kiran is undoubtedly an improved artiste since his debut.
He has also perfected his diction to some extent. Reema Sen
too has gained in experience. Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao,
Tanikella Bharani and Chandra Mohan add veterans' touch to
the film. Music composer Patnaik did a good job while photography
is another technical asset of the film
