Gudipoodi Srihari Review

The film deals with the terrorists' training camps and its implication on our country. Director Omprakash and script writer JK Bharavi, have taken enough care to see that the film does not draw any unnecessary attention from religious groups.

The subject is limited to how an honest police officer Gayatri (Vijaya Shanti) battles against these terrorists and strive to expose the corrupt officers in her department. This role of Gayatri is well portrayed by Vijaya Shanti. Equal importance is given to another artist Ambarish, and he does justice to his role.

Ashish Vidhyarthi plays the role of Major Sujan, of alien army, who conducts camps in remote places for the youth chosen from Indian soil. Gitish Karnad plays Gayatri's father who suffers at the knowledge that his son (Sunil) is also being lured into joining terrorist's camp.

The film is marked by long battles and action scenes. The subversion activities also find interesting picturization, more as a symbolic treatment. The patriotic song Vandemataram sung in two versions has been well received.

The audio is good and clear. Music by Deva helps a great deal in elevating the mood of the film.
