Anji: Unvieling the stamina of a Telugu Cinema
Extravagance at it's peak! The man behind the famous 'Ankusam' and
'Ammoru' is on a mission to show the world the stamina of Telugu film.
A cine industry that had never seen a film with a budget passing over
10 crores is aghast with Shyam's 20 crore plus film and describing
this man 'Shyam Prasad Reddy' as a maverick. But this unassuming producer
has two of the powerful weapons with him to make his dream come true.
A brilliant performer and an understanding human being in the form
of Chiranjeevi. A man who can give celluloid touch to the ideas in
his brain, Kodi Rama Krishna. This film boasts of 11 minutes of computer
graphics that are done by Chris in his exclusive special effects studio
in London. Talkie of the film is over and Climax 'n' Songs are yet
to be done. Shyam is planning to release this film in the end of July
2000. Shyam says 'If HAHK can widen the box-office range of Hindi
film from 20 crores to 100 crores, why can't my film emulate it?'
Quite logical ... And having Shyam at the helm of affairs it helps! |

Alludu: The beloved hero of Masses has another role up in his sleeves
Balaiah who is been doing roles of Samara Simha Reddy, Krishna Babu
and Sultan has taken a break from monotony. Whoelse can give him a
comic touch other than EVV, who is riding high after the success of
'Chala Bagundi'. This film is an inspired Telugu version of Hindi
'Hero No1'. Balaiah is having 3 heroines to shake leg with. Simran,
Sanghvi and Sadhika. The unit of the film is pepped up in Greece and
Turkey to shoot a few important sequences followed by songs. This
film is expected to release in May 2000. After 'Top Hero' Balaiah
is coming with a full time laugh treat. All you gotta do is just to
wait! |

Aakasa Veedhilo: On the Cloud 9
Nag is in cloud 9(pun intended). Usha Kiran's big venture 'Aakasa
Veedhilo' is almost complete. Singeetam Sreenivas is directing this
film. This director ruled the roost with Kamal in Tamil and gave a
couple of variety flicks, Aditya369 and Madam, in Telugu. This film
revolved around hijacking. Natakiriti Rajendra Prasad is acting
as a pilot in this film. Nag is married to Raveena in this film and
they do have kid too. Ramoji film city has prepared a live aero plane
set to finish the mind boggling climax. This film is expected to have
a 'Dussera' release. And 'Mantra', the animation and special effects
studio of Ramoji film city, is having a tough time to match the imagination
of Singeetham to provide the special effects for this film. |

Badri: Raju ban Gaya Gentleman+YesBoss?
Pawan Kalyan, the man who is still remaining as a unsolved human mystery
in the film industry is churning out hits film after film. The credibility
and trustworthiness is evident from the fact that his latest film
'Badri' made a terrific trade business of 11 crore and a cool table
profit of 4.5 crores for the producer T Trivikrama Rao. Pawan Kalyan,
the best spotter of the unexposed talent is mining another gem director
in the form of 'Poori Jagannath'. Pawan is editing the film right
now. The man known for the quality, Pawan, spared no efforts to expose
unlimited quantity of Fuji raw film. He is gone to the extent of avoiding
director for the shooting of songs and self directed them all in South
Africa. The damsel of Hindi Block Buster, Amisha Patel, is doing the
main lead. Another heroine is Renu Desai. Ramana Gogula is providing
the music. |

Yuva Raju: The second coming of Prince
He shaken the box-office with his debut film as hero, Rajakumarudu,
and announced the arrival of next generation romantic hero by giving
fitting reply to his sneers. He is poised to spell his magic at box-office
again, but with the protégé of Raghavendra Rao, this
time. Svelte Saakshi and Simmering Siren Simran are pairing up with
Charming Mahesh. The raving music is provided by Ramana Gogula. Burugapally
Siva Rama Krishna, who mastered the recipe of success is making this
film on omega scale. YVS has taken juice out of the producer by delaying
film by a couple of months to get more quality. Being charted accountant,
Burugapally, is quite cautious though. But by having Mahesh as the
hero, the last thing a producer to be bothered about is the budget.
Mahesh is gracing on Telugu people in form of 'Yuva Raju' on 5th of
April 2000. |
