This is another flop, which banked on a great combination. Tarun was in a hot seat with two big hits in the form of 'Nuvve Kavali' and 'Priyamaina Neeku'. Richa is signed again to repeat the screen magic. The producer of 'Toli Prema' introduced a new director named Sreeram Balaji.

The predictable story, casting Balu as villain, orphan to IAS officer kind of hero background, unimaginative screenplay and crime element were the drawbacks of this film.

The movie had a pathetic run at box office. The boxes returned to the distributors in a couple of weeks.
