About Movie:

Baadshah (Akshay Kumar),is picked up by Sultaan (Shakti Kapoor) when he was young child. Sultan turns Baadshah into a criminal who robs and kills people. He always manages to escape from an honest police inspector Arjun Pradhan (Ashish Vidhyarthi). Baadshah meets Sapna (Karisma Kapoor), a street dancer, falls in love and decides to get married. On the day of their marriage, Baadshah gets stuck into a fight with one of his enemies and is not able to make it to the temple where he’s supposed to get married. Then after running from the police he finds a baby boy, lonely and crying and his hearts melts. He leaves the life of crime and starts a new life. He changes his name to Babu Lohar and starts doing blacksmith job to earn food for Raju (Aditya Kapadia). The child Raju is able to change the Jaanwar to human. Now Babu's life revolves only around Raju. After 8 years Raju's birth parents (Mohnish Behl-Shilpa Shetty) enter the scene. Sultan too needs Badshah and Sapna also wants to take revenge.

Review:
Akshay Kumar has done excellent role and no one would have been able to fit in his role. In second half movie he looks more smarter and better as an actor. Karishma Kapoor has got no scope of acting except dancing. Shilpa Shetty has different role here than what she normally gets and she is okay in her role. Ashish Vidhyarthi gives a good performance. The talented actor Ashutosh Rana talent has been wasted in such a small role. The screenplay is very poor. The story idea itself is good, but the director and writer fail to take any advantage of it. Music by Anand Milind is okay and few songs are catchy ('Mera yaar dildaar bada sona', 'Kasam se', and 'Mausam ki tarha').

On whole it was an okay movie. Although it is not great super hit stuff but still movie is good.
