The movie revolves around the robinhood type man Sanju (Sanjay

in a month if he wants save himself and Gudia, an orphan girl
who becomes a hostage. So Natwar (Johnny Lever) suggest an
idea to Sanju to rescue himself and gudia. Natwar advises
Sanju to go in to the Chaudhary house as Sanju Shastri and
steal the money from house. As Sanju has no other choice,
he decides to enter the Chaudhary Villa as their NRI relative.
Sanju starts befriending the members of the Chaudhary family
by bringing gifts with them for each individual member in
family. The Chaudhary Parivar has three brothers: the elder
one is Dilip (Om Puri), an honest man and takes care of the
family business,Second is Mahesh (Ashok Saraf) a gambler,
the third one Satish (Late Jatin Kanakia ) is not able to
speak fluently. Shivani (Urmila Matondkar) is the daughter
of Dilip. She is beautiful but without confidence in herself
and she thinks she is responsible for killing her mother.
This makes the whole family worried about Shivani’s marriage.
Sanju comes on the scene and wins everybody's hearts by solving
their problems. Obviously, she falls in love with Sanju. The
rest of the film is about how Sanju transforms Shivani from
a simple girl to a modern confident girl and unites the rest
of the family and in the process He falls in love with shivani.
is a good family movie with bit comedy. Although story is not
new but the film succeeds in entertaining the audience(movie
lovers). It’s almost a remake of the old classic Bawarchi ..Hrishikesh
Mukherjee's film in which Rajesh Khanna played the role of Bawarchi.
Sanjay Dutt has given another good performance. This is Sanjay’s
second film in a row, which has potential to become a hit after
his film Vaastav. Urmila Matondkar looks beautiful and plays
her part of an innocent girl very well. Paresh Rawal is at his
best as the villain with a pinch of comedy using lines from
popular advertizes. Johnny Lever in his guest appearance is
okay. Besides Sanjay Dutt's performance and the beauty of Urmila,
the sweet music by Jatin-Lalit is another highlight of the film.
Songs like "Mera Ek Sapna Hai"," Bahut Khoobsurat" and "Aye
Shivani "sung by Sanjay Dutt himself are worth mentioning. Overall,
Khoobsurat is a fun-filled movie with some good songs.
