10th
October 2002
A
group of Chiranjeevi fans started forming a gathering outside Chiranjeevi's
house near Jubilee Hills Check Post at 11 am on 10th October 2002
to protest against acerbic
remarks made by Bellamkonda Suresh in a paper advertisement
given in Vaartha Daily newspaper on 8th October 2002.
By
2 pm, approximately 1000 fans of Chiranjeevi gathered at that place.
The venue sported a festive look with more industry people making
their way into the residence of Chiranjeevi.
At
around 2:45 pm - amidst the cheers of fans - Chiranjeevi made his
appearance with a chocolate color T Shirt. He thanked all the fans
for traveling all over to come to his residence. He also said that
he believes in peace and urged his fans to maintain temper. He also
opined that the fans should not quarrel when stars do not have any
personal differences. He said that he wants all the people in the
industry to live in harmony and peace.
Aswini
Dutt branded the comments of Bellamkonda as the barking of the mad
dog. Aswini Dutt said that the records of Indra are answering the
claims of people who do not believe in Indra's success. He said
Indra has collected 30 crores so far and is poised to collect 35
crores in the long run. He cheered up the fans saying that Indra
is poised for 100 days in 120 centers and 175 days in 40 centers.
He assured the fans that the AP Film's Producer Counsel would take
appropriate action on the culprit.
Allu
Arvind requested the fans to calm down. When a fan posed a question
that others are taking undue advantage of Chiranjeevi and his fan's
goodness, Allu Arvind responded by saying that we would be silent
for the first time and would show the power of Chiru fans when its
happens again.
Later
on actor Murali Mohan, G Adi Sesha Giri Rao (President of Producer's
counsel) and KC Sekhara Babu talked to Chiranjeevi fans and assured
that justice would be done soon.
Then
fans asked Chiranjeevi to make appearance again. Chiranjeevi spoke
to them and requested all his fans to return home without creating
any trouble.
