Terrorism has spread its tentacles deep into our society and its impact on human life has been devastating. Countless innocent lives have been paid in return for their traumatic activities. Terrorists do not descend from sky or emerge from earth; they are ordinary human beings but their thinking pattern makes what they are - terrorists. The DownRising is an attempt to take a peek at their lives, life styles and mindsets.

Produced by Srikanth Chinnamatur (IBDB participant - mama1/nbkchiru/aitheok), this movie has been entirely shot in the District of Columbia and features over 20 actors from the DC area. This movie has been directed by Shrikar Madiraju who earlier made a critically acclaimed movie titled "underground".
