Bharat Bandh hits screenings at Hyderabad
The Bharat Bandh called by VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishat) affected the
screenings of morning show at Hyderbad. Most of the movie halls canceled
the morning show screening on 1st March 2002. Arti Agrawal plays negative role in Chiru film

Arti Agrawal has a challenging role apposite Chiranjeevi in B Gopal's
film with Chiranjeevi as hero. Her role has negative shades in the film
(Something similar to Ramya Krishna in 'Narasimha' film). The producer
got feedback that Sonali Bendre might not be liked by masses. Hence
have chosen the in-heroine Arti Agrawal, who is riding on the wave of
success to compensate the mass heroine factor. Mani Sharma is recording
a song on 'Kasi' just like he did 'Yamaha Nagari' for Calcutta for 'Choodalani
Vundi'. This 'Kaasi' song too is penned by Venturi and is going to be
sung by Hari Haran. The titles under consideration for this film are
'Indrasena Reddy' and 'Varanasi'. Aswini Dutt is producing this film
on Vyjayanti Banner. VSR Swamy provides photography. Mani Sharma is
scoring music.
With
the advent of the new blood and youth films, some of the heroes are
having identity crisis. Jagapathi Babu is one of them. Though his latest
film 'Hanuman Junction' was a big hit, things are not really looking
up for him. Now, he is searching for a new subject that's going launch
him as the hero, which will make a new niche for him. Jagapathi Babu
is known to play the soft hero roles with two wives (or lovers). But,
the public does not like these kinds of films anymore. And hero like
Venu is slowly taking Jagapati Babu's position in playing those kinds
of roles for the film films like 'veedekkadi mogudandi'.
Premate, another youth film, starring Venu Gopal, Siva Reddy, Parishka
and Minu Bharadwaj is being produced by the producers of the film '6
teens'. This film has a specialty in the form of singers. Six music
directors are signing a song each for this film. These singers are Sashi
Preetham, Vandemataram Srinivas, Devi Sri Prasad, RP Patnaik, MM Sri
Lekha and Chakri. Sashi Preetham is providing music for this film. BV
Ramana Reddy directs this film. The shooting of the film would be completed
in the month of March. This film would hit marquee in the month of April
2002.
