Jayam heroine injured

Sadaf (18), the heroine of Jayam, was injured on the morning of 31st March 2002 in an accident when her vehicle Tata Sumo got out of control and somersaulted. Four more people were injured along with her in this incident. They are Radhika (18) and assistant directors Vasant and Chetan. The heroine is taking rest in Apollo hospital in Aragonda of Chittoor. The film 'Jayam' is scheduled for shooting in Poothalapattu Railway station for a train chase scene.

Aadi producer donates 1 lakh to TDP

Ms. P Naga Lakshmi, the producer of Aadi - the latest blockbuster, donated an amount of 1 lakh towards the Telugu Desam Party fund on its foundation day. She handed over the cheque to Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu in the last week.

Release of two films in offing

The films 'Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu' and 'Shivani' are getting re-released soon. Shivani was released in the December of last year. But, it was taken out of the theaters within one week due to the dismal collections. 'Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu' was released on this year's Valentines Day. This film was taken out of the theaters after a couple of days, due to technical problems. The producer canned the climax and few other scenes again. This film would be released on 6th of this month with 10 prints. Shivani would be released soon.

Themes for Telugu film posters

Telugu film poster designing has entered into new age. Theme designs and uniform color combinations are in things now. In all started with Anandam film, which has all the posters done with Blue/White color combinations. But it was 'Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu' that won the acclaims with yellow colors splashed all over. Even for the recent release 'Nee Thodu Kavali', Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao used green color. For Venu's film ' Malli Malli Choodali', they are using the combination of Yellow and Violet color. We have to wait and see how this new revolution in poster designing progress in the months to come.
