          Vamsi's latest film 'Khadgam' went on floors on 7th of May 2002. 
          According to the insiders, the story of this film is bases on ISI activities 
          in Hyderabad. Srikanth, Ravi Teja and Prakash Raj play the main leads. 
          Young music director Devi Sri Prasad is signed as the music director 
          for this film. Sunkara Madhu Murali of Melody Multimedia banner is producing 
          this low budget venture. It is rumored that this film is being made 
          with a low budget of 2 and half crores. All the artists and technicians 
          are working for this film at a reduced price. Meanwhile, the shooting 
          of 'Mallepoovu' is abandoned for now. It would start after the release 
          of the film 'Khadgam'.

          films, which are slated for release in May, are delaying the release 
          date to the month of June. Manjula Naidu's 'Kanulu Moosina Neevaye' 
          is releasing on 14th of June. VN Aditya's 'Sreeram' would be releasing 
          on 5th of June. Tarun's film 'Adrustam' is postponed to 28th of June. 
          MS Reddy's 'Andam' release is shifted to the month of June. There are 
          lots of small budget films with unknown faces, which are staying in 
          the dark because there were no buyers. We have to wait and how many 
          small films would be released in the next month.

          The comedy movies director Siva Nageswara Rao would direct this film. 
          EVV Naresh would be play the character played by Akshay Kumar in Hindi 
          original. Another debutant hero would play the Sunil Shetty's character. 
          Kota Srinivasa Rao is roped in to play the role of Paresh Rawal. This 
          film would go on floors in the last week of June 2002. The selection 
          of heroines is yet to be done.
