Rakshita in Anji
Mr. Shyam said that 'Gumma Gulabi Komma' would be added to Anji film 4-5 weeks after the release of film. And he predicted that either Jyotika or Arti would be dancing with Chiranjeevi in that song. Recently heroine Rakshita confirmed that she would be shaking her leg with Chiranjeevi in that special song.

Trisha paired up with NTR
We already know that Genelia (of Boys fame) is acting as heroine in NTR's 9th film 'Samba' in the direction of VV Vinayak. In the other heroine's role Trisha (of Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu fame) is acting. Kodali Naani is producing this film on Kodali Movies banner. The regular shooting of this film is going on in BHEL area now.

Satyam disc function held
The triple platinum disc function of Sumanth's musical hit 'Satyam' was held at Prasad's multiplex today afternoon. This function is witnessed by the entire cast and crew of the film. ANR said that though Sumanth proved himself as an actor, he had to wait for 4 years to get commercial success. He said that songs of Satyam have great lyrical value. ANR said that he acted with 82 heroines so far and felt jovially sad that he missed acting with Genelia and described Sumanth to be lucky. Chief guest YVS Chowdary said that after his parents and NTR, its Nagarjuna to whom he is indebted to for giving him life as a director. Nagarjuna wished happy new year and described Satyam as the result of teamwork of all cast and crew members.

Ram Charan Teja to make his debut in 2004
After successfully launching Allu Arjun as hero from Allu family last year, the stage is all set to launch Ram Charan Teja - the son of Chiranjeevi. Ram Charan Teja would be introduced as youth hero in the year of 2004. Chiranjeevi is in the process of listening to wide variety of storylines narrated by the who and who of the Telugu film directors fraternity.

144 section announced for Sankranthi films
The district collectors of Godari Districts have announced the Section 144 on the eve of 3 grand gala events happening on 1st January 2004. It would be the release day of NTR's Andhrawala, 100th day of Chiranjeevi's Tagore and 175th day of NTR's Simhadri. To avoid clashes by fans of these stars, the police department has done a thorough security measures. In certain areas, the SI of police announced that the shows should start at 5 am and all shows should be completed by 5 pm. Though there is fear of clash of fans all over AP, the most sensitive place is said to be the Godari districts. The same section 144 is being announced on 7th and 14th of January 2004 when Chiranjeevi's Anji and Bala Krishna's Lakshmi Narsimha are going to be released respectively.

Satyam platinum function tomorrow
Sumanth's relaunch vehicle Satyam turned out to be a good musical hit. The audio of this film was sold like hot cake. On this eve, Sohan Music is arranging the triple platinum disc function of Satyam on 31st of December 2004. Incidentally, this function is the first platinum disc function that's going to be celebrated in Prasads Multiplex, where its going continuous housefuls even in second week.

Story of Chiranjeevi's next film in the direction of Puri Jagan would have an element of fantasy in it. Jyotika is confirmed as one of the heroines. There would be 3 heroines in this film. Its going to be an out and out mass entertainer like Yamudiki Mogudu, Rowdy Alludu and Annayya. Naga Babu would be producing this film on Anjana banner. This film would go to floors on January 2004.

Malliswari in Odeon Dlx
Sunil Nagang - the supreme of Asian theaters - confirmed to idlebrain.com that Asian Theaters would be leasing Odeon Deluxe which is under renovation now. The theater should be ready by February 2004. The first film that is going to be screened in this theater is going to be Venky's Malliswari (caption of Malliswari is 'The Princess') in the direction of Vijaya Bhaskar which introduces Katrina Kaif in Telugu. It may be known to idlebrain visitors that Andhrawala is going to be screened in renovated Odeon 70mm theater from 1st January onwards.

Madala Ravi's Nenu Saitam
Lyric of Sri Sri's powerful poem 'Nenu Saitham' is named as Madala Ravi's debut film in the direction of Dhavala Satyam. Talkie of this film would be completed by 31st of this month. Gurlin Chopra (of Ayudham fame) is paired up with Madala Ravi in this film. Madala Ranga Rao is giving special appearance in 'Nenu Saitham'. TVS Raju provides music.

Aditi fixed for Vidyardhi
Renowned bilingual producer RB Chowdary's elder son Ramesh is making his debut as hero in a straight Telugu project titled 'Vidyardhi'. Initially Mamata Zhaveri was opted as heroine. But later on she was dropped for some unknown reason. She was replaced by Aditi Agarwal and shooting is going on in full swing.

PPR in January's monthend
Veteran comedy director Relangi Narasimha Rao is making his comeback in Telugu films with Nitya Movies 'Preminchukunnam Pelliki Randi' (PPR). This movie sports Aditya Om, Vijay Sai, Rekha and Revathi in main leads. This film is supposed to be a hilarious comedy with Brahmanandam acting as a band master. All the comedy artists are acting in this film. Audio of PPR is expected in the first week of January 2004. This film would hit screen in January month's end. Sye inspired by real life incident
Raja Mouli embarked on his 3rd project after super successes of 'Student No.1' and 'Simhadri'. It sports Nitin and Genelia D'souza in main roles. Vijayendra Prasad - father of SS Raja Mouli - is providing story. The story of 'Sye' has the backdrop of sports and it is inspired by a real life incident. This film would be shot in Medak, Hyderabad and Vizag. MM Keeravani provides music. 'Sye' is aimed at Summer 2004 release.

Aamir Khan's brother in Telugu
Faisal Khan - the younger brother of Bollywood hero Aamir Khan - is signed by Ravi Kumar Gandepudi for a bilingual film to be made in Telugu and Hindi. Faisal Khan is currently working for TV serials. Meghana is playing female lead in this film. Ravi Kumar would produce and direct this film that goes to floors in the month-end of January 2004.

News channel from E TV
ETV is coming up with a channel that offers round the clock news and current affairs in Telugu. This channel would have hourly news bulletins that covers state level, national and international news. This channel would be the first dedicated news channel in Telugu. This channel would be beamed to public from 28th of December onwards. Currently ETV is providing entertainment channels in Telugu, Bangla, Oriya, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarathi and Urdu.

NTR to open Odeon
Odeon 70mm was recently closed for renovation. And the newly renovated theater would be screening Andhrawala as its first film. NTR is going to inaugurate this theater on 28th of this month. The hungama for Andhrawala would kick-start from this event.

Katrina Kaif with Nagarjuna
It is reliably learnt that Katrina Kaif who is acting as princess in Venky's Malliswari is going to be paired up with Nagarjuna in 'Mass … Dammunte Kasko'. This film would introduce famous choreographer Lawrence as film director. Nagarjuna produces this film on Annapurna banner. Devi Sri Prasad is going to provide music for this film. This film is expected to go to floors in the month of March 2004.

Tabu with Mohan Babu
Mohan Babu is going to act as hero in a film that goes to floors in the first quarter of 2004. Devyani's hubby turns director
Raj Kumar - husband of heroine Devayani - is directing a straight Telugu film featuring Sai Kumar and Devyani. Raj Kumar made his debut in 'Nee Varuvayan' by Supergood films in 1999. He later on directed two films in Tamil. All these three films starred Devayani as heroine. Hero Sai Kumar said that its been 7 years since Police Story is released. He is waiting for such kind of break with this film. N Sai Ratnam who produced 20 dubbing films and 3 straight films produces this film. This film started its shooting on 20th of this month and would be completed in a single schedule by 31st of January 2004. Opening of this film was held last Sunday. Audio of Bala Krishna's starrer Lakshmi Narasimha would be available in stores on 25th December 2003 - a festive day. CM Chandra Nabu Naidu would be releasing the audio of Bala Krishna's Sankranthi offer 'Lakshmi Narasimha' at a function arranged in Shilpa Kala Vedika on 19th of December 2004. Lots of fans are given passes to this grand gala event. Incidentally Chandra Babu Naidu would be participating in a public film related event for the first time after Alipiri incident. Muhurat of Venky-KRR-AD film held
Muhurat of Venkatesh's film in the direction of K Raghavendra Rao was held in a secret function today. Aswini Dutt is producing this film on Vyjayanthi banner. Senior script writer Satyanand is providing story for this film. Regular shooting of this film would start in the month of March 2004. Four heroines are pitted against Venkatesh in this film.

The team of Andhrawala apologized for the inconvenience caused to the press and public in conducting the event of 'Andhrawala Audio Release Function' in Nimmakur on 5th of this month. NTR said that it took just 6 months to make the film Andhrawala and it is all set to release on 1st of January 2004. Producer Giri said that he booked the best theaters in AP for the release of Andhrawala even before selling it to the distributors. Gulshan Grover in Pawan Kalyan's film
Gulshan Grover who acted in Nagarjuna's film Criminal around eight years back with an obligation to the director Mahesh Bhatt, is acting in another film again. This time the hero who is going to have the rumble with him on screen in none but Pawan Kalyan. More details awaited.

Ramu to make Ek
As per the latest buzz, Ram Gopal Varma is planning to direct 'Ek' a film that is going to be made with a budget of more than 100 crores. 6 mass songs in Anji
It is reliably learnt that all six songs in Chiranjeevi's Anji film are mass songs with foot tapping music. Mani Sharma scored five of the songs as Sri scored one song. Supreme audio is releasing 5 lakhs of units on 15th of this month into the market. Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Bhuvana Chandra and Chandrabose penned the lyrics. Namrata Sirodkar is playing the main heroine. Four heroines - Ramya Krishna, Mamata Kulakarni, Reema Sen and Rajya Lakshmi - are doing item songs in this film.

Under Ground for NYFF
Under ground, a short film, written and directed by shrikar madiraju, has been selected as an official entry for the New York film festival, to be held in New York in April 2004. The film was show cased on idlebrain.com in November. The film, made in Washington, DC deals with certain super natural events set in 1920, Washington, DC. The film is expected to be screened in Boston, Richmond [VA] and other cities in the US. The film director, shrikar madiraju, hails from Vizag [AP] and currently resides in Washington, DC. Shrikar is expected to be in Hyderabad in the third week of December, to look for production help and assistance for his next project, which will begin in March 2004. Smita's remix album 'Masaka Masaka' hit market today. Smita launched the first bunch of Masaka Masaka at a function held at Music world today evening. She performed a song out there. Producer MS Raju today announced that audio of his latest film 'Varsham' with Prabhas as hero is releasing on 18th of this month. This movie is slated for the release on 14th January 2004. Shooting of the film is completed except for picturization of 3 songs. Dubbing and post-production work is in progress. Devi Sri Prasad is giving music to Varsham. Prakash Raj and Gopichand are also playing vital roles. Trisha is paired up with Prabhas. Sobhan (of Bobby fame) directs this film that revolves around the concept of rain. Sravya changes her name
'Blame it on the name' seems to be the name of the game for heroines who delivered flops. Sravya - who made debut with a flop film 'Nenu Seetamahalakshmi' changed her screen name to 'Neetha'. Incidentally Neetha is her real name as well. The flop of 'Nenu Seetamahalakshmi' is also having side effects. The title of RP Patnaik's 'Nenu Vasanti Lakshmi' is changed to 'Seenu Lakshmi Vasanthi' to distance itself from the title similarity with 'Nenu Seetamahalakshmi'.

Anji audio in market on 15th Dec
As per the initial information, audio of Anji is expected to be released on 12th December 2003. But the producer Shyam Prasad Reddy today confirmed to idlebrain.com that audio of Anji would be hitting market directly on 15th of December 2003. There would not be any audio function for it. Anji movie is going to be released on 7th of January 2004 which falls on Wednesday. This news is the official confirmation from Shyam Prasad Reddy!

ANR in Satyam
Sumanth - the third generation hero from Akkineni family - is making his comeback with a film titled 'Satyam' which is being produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni. Genelia is paired up with Sumanth in this film. We reported in the past that music director Chakri is making special appearance as an actor with Satyam. Our idlebrain.com sources say that Akkineni Nageswara Rao is going to make a special appearance in Satyam. Heroine Tanu Roy (of Itlu Sravani Subramanyam) is also making a guest appearance in this film. Satyam is going to release on 19th of this month.

4 films on 12th December

3 choreographers to become directors
Its a boom time for choreographers. As per idlebrain.com sources, three popular choreographers are making their debut as film directors in Telugu in the year of 2004. It is reliably learnt that choreographer Lawrence prepared a story for Chiranjeevi and he is almost Okayed it. Lawrence narrated another story called 'Mass - Dammunte Kasko' to Nagarjuna and he Okayed the story and decided to act in that film while producing it on Annapurna Studios. Suchitra Chandrabose has been in the news for the past 3 years that she is going direct a film titled Phd (Premaki Heart Degree) in Usha Kiron Movies banner. But it has not been materialized so far. Her Usha Kiron's project may start very soon. It is also reliably learnt that she might be directing a film under a banner that produced a hit in Jan 2003 with two heroes in main leads. The 3rd choreographer is none other than Prabhu Deva - a dancing sensation. A mega maker who produced industry hit in January 2003 might produce this film. Other details and official announcements are awaited.

Venky's seven projects
Venkatesh is going to have seven projects lined up for him. The most crazy project is going to be a multistarrer with Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan acting as brothers. This film would be produced by D Suresh Babu on Suresh Productions banner. 2nd film is going to be the remake of 'Kakha Kakha' in the direction of Gowtam. Geetachitra banner would be produce this film. Venky's 3rd project is Aswini Dutt's film which is going to be 101st directorial venture of K Raghavendra Rao. He has a film each lined up with producers KL Narayana and MS Raju. He also has a film each under pipeline with directors Puri Jagan and Teja. He is currently acting in Malliswari in which famous model Katrina Kaif is playing princess.

Nag with VV Vinayak
Nagarjuna who delivered a memorable hattrick with 3 back to back hits Santosham, Manmadhudu and Shivamani is having a prestigious venture lined up for him very soon. This film would be directed by VV Vinayak. Aswini Dutt who produced quite a number of movies with Nagarjuna in the past would produce it on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

Leo projects film details
Leo projects that delivered the sensational hit Tagore is having two projects under pipelines. Their next venture is going have Allu Arjun as hero. Incidentally it would be Allu Arjun's 3rd film. In the future, Leo Projects would collaborate with Allu Arvind and produce a film with Chiranjeevi as hero. This project is going to be Production No. 3 for Leo Projects.

Anji, LNS audio details
The audio rights of Chiranjeevi's Anji and Bala Krishna's Lakshmi Narasimha are grabbed by Supreme. Audio of Anji and Lakshmi Narasimha are expected to be released on 12th December and 19th December respectively. Anji might be released either on 2nd January or 7th January as per the grapevine. Lakshmi Narasimha is going to be released worldwide on 9th January 2004.

Arti's cameo in Aditi's film
Arti Agarwal is going to give her special appearance for the first time in the film 'Koduku' that is being directed by comedian MS Narayana. This film has Vikram -son of MS Narayana -playing the lead role. Aditi Agarwal is acting this film as female lead. As a sibling gesture Arti Argarwal acted in this film. A few scenes involving Arti Agarwal were canned recently.

Sravanti Ravi Kishore to remake Tirumalai
Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has bought the remake rights of Tamil's blockbuster 'Tirumalai' (released on 5th November 2003 in Tamil Nadu) starring Vijay and Jyotika. A debutant director Ramana directed this film. The cast and crew is yet to be finalized for Sravanthi Ravi Kishore's remake of 'Thirumalai'. More details later.

Premayanamaha on 12th December 2003
Shivram Apte's debut film 'Premayanamaha' is releasing all over AP on 12th December 2003. Suresh Movie Distributors are roped in to do the distribution. The production banner '21st Century Lions' are going to release this film simulteniously in USA on 12th December. This film would be screened in Detroit first. Singer Sandeep and Dancer Kausha are making their debut as hero and heroine respectively. Audio of this film is going well with the crowds. Haranadh Policharla - a NRI from USA - producing this film along with his friends.

Sankranthi Movies with a gap
Sankranthi 2004 is going to have 4 major movie releases in the form of Andhrawala, Anji, Lakshmi Narasimha and Naani. Though the producers of these films appear very bullish with their release dates, it is reliably learnt that a comfortable gap of 4-5 days would be kept between the release of each film so that each one of these films would get decent openings. The film which is going to release first would have early bird benefits of getting housefuls in all centers till 17th of January provided the movie is good. And that lucky early bird might be NTR's Andhrawala.

Pop star Smita has come up with a 2000 sq ft world class beauty salon called "Bubbles Hair and Beauty" in Jubilee Hills. Grand unveiling of this seven star salon will happen on the 3rd of December by Nagarjuna Akkineni. This salon is equipped with best of equipment and manpower. The salon is located at plot no.21 B, Journalist Colony B, opposite K.B.R.Park near Apollo Hospital turning. Bubbles will cater to both men and women.

Lagaan actor in Sye
Pradeep Rawat who acted as Deva in Aamir Khan's Oscar Nominated film 'Lagaan' is making his debut in Telugu as villain with a film titled 'Sye'. Like Lagaan, this film too would have the backdrop of sports. Nitin and Genelia DSouza are playing main leads. Raja Mouli who directed latest blockbuster Simhadri is directing this film. Giri - who is currently producing Andhrawala with NTR - would produce this film. Senthil Kumar - who worked for Aithe - would provide cinematography. Keeravani scores music. This film would go to floors on 6th of December 2003.

Vallabha turns producer
Vallabha - who made his debut as hero with 'Evare Atagaadu' - is making his debut as producer with a Kannada film titled 'Kannadiga'. This film is a simultaneous remake of Telugu 'Andhrawala'. Mehar Ramesh directs this film and Chakri provides music. Puneet Raj Kumar and Anita are playing lead roles. KS Rama Rao presents this film and 'Kannadiga' is being made on Creative Commercials banner. However, Vallabha would continue acting in Telugu films if finds a good script.

Ever-ringing Shivamani's cell
Puri Jagan had sent the Shivamani's cell phone that is numbered 98480 22338 to each of the Telugu film magazines for a day. Whenever the cell phone is on, it never stopped ringing. And most of the exited callers were women. All magazines published the exciting stuff they encountered while speaking to the fans. The selected callers were given a CD of Shivamani as a freebee.

Chantigadu success meet held
BA Raju has arranged the success meet of his latest film 'Chantigadu' today in Prasanth Kuteer.
