Bala Krishna's film songs in Spain
The unit of Bala Krishna’s latest film in the direction of AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary would be moving to Spain in February to can three songs. Two songs would feature Bala Krishna and Tanusree Dutt and one song features Bala Krishna and Sada. This film is expected to hit the marquee in March/April month.

Gangaraju’s Amma Cheppindi
Title for Gangaraju Gunnam’s latest film is confirmed as Amma Cheppindi. This film features Sharvanand and Sreya Reddy in the main leads. Suhasini is playing the vital role of mother. Madan who made a mark for himself with his unique storyline for Chandra Siddardha’s ‘Aaa Naluguru’ is going to make his debut as director very soon. Venu would do the male lead in this film. Andhra Pradesh Film Employees Federation is going to host ‘NTR and MGR Memorial Cup’ in Sharjah on 27th January. All major Telugu and Tamil stars are expected to participate in this event. The profits earned through this match would be given to AP Film Employees Federation and Telugu Gulf Association. The stadium has capacity to accommodate more than 30,000 Telugu film lovers.

Time for the heroes on ABC
Recently held AIDS awareness programme 'The time for Heroes' was aired at ABC News channel in United States of America on the night of 14th Dec 2005. Short interviews of Hollywood star Richard Gere, South Indian star Kamal Hassan was aired and the audio clippings of the Telugu film star Chiranjeevi's speech was also beamed on this occasion. Amir Khan to do Ghajini in Hindi
Allu Arvind arranged a special preview of Ghajini film to Amir Khan recently. After watching the film, Amir Khan congratulated the cast and crewmembers. He gave his consent to act in Hindi version on Ghajini. Director Murugadas told that he would be completing Chiranjeevi's Stalin first and then he would direct the Hindi version of Ghajini with Amir Khan as hero.

As per the sources of idlebrain.com, Santosham Suresh has bought the Shock film for 10 crores outright from Ram Gopal Varma. Just like he used Shankar's name for Premiste, he would be using the fame of Ram Gopal Varma for the publicity of this film. Just with in 2 days of announcement of Suresh taking Shock, offers started flooding from all areas. The current going rate for Satellite is 1.25 crores. The total business potential of Shock as of today is 15 crores and it is expected to go upwards. Suresh is also considered as lucky mascot among the film distributors as Premiste went on to become a huge success by getting lots of profits. Ravi Teja is the hero. Jyothika who delivered all blockbusters in 3 films (Tagore, Mass and Chandramukhi) she acted so far is another selling point for the film. The audio function of Shock would be organized in a grand style in the first week of January 2006. Celebrities from Bollywood (Amitab Bachchan too, if he is recovered by then) would grace this event. Shock film is expected to release on 25th of January.

Kannada remake of Okkadu in Hyd
Shooting of the Kannada remake version of Mahesh Babu's blockbuster Okkadu is currently going on near Hyderabad airport. This film stars Punit Raj Kumar and Anu Mehta in the main leads. 90 day shoot for Godavari
It took 90 days of strenuous work to shoot for Sekhar Kammula's latest film Godavari. Shooting of this film is almost complete. Sumanth and Kamalinee Mukerjee play the main leads. KM Radha Krishnan scores music. This film would be releasing in January 2006.

Lawrence's Style in January
Shooting of Lawrence's second film as director Style is completed except for a song. Madhura Entertainments bagged the audio rights of this film. Mani Sharma scored 7 songs. Audio of Style would be releasing for Christmas. Prabhu Deva, Lawrence, Raja, Charmme and Kamalinee Mukherjee play the main leads. This film is shot in Super 35 camera by Kabir Lal. This film would also go through DI (Digital Intermediate) for better styling. Style film would be releasing in the month of January 2006. Lagadapati Sridhar produces this film on LARSCO banner.

Aaru on 9th December
Gemini Film Circuit's latest film Aaru would be releasing on 9th of December simultaneous in Telugu/Tamil and India/USA. This film stars Surya and Trisha. Hari (of Saamy fame) directed this film. Devi Sri Prasad scored music. Asish Vidyardhi, Kala Bhavan Mani and Jaya Prakash Reddy play other important roles. Sashank Vennelakanti penned dialogues.

Ramu's Siva 2006 with Nagarjuna
Ram Gopal Varma is planning to make a film titled 'Siva 2006' with Nagarjuna as hero. This comes as sequel to the wonderful film Siva. If Nagarjuna played the role of college student in Siva, he would be playing a cop in Siva 2006. Ilayaraja has agreed to score music for this film. The rest of cast is going to be different from Siva. This film would be launched and released in the year 2006.

Ram Gopal Varma and Suresh Kondeti are jointly producing Shock with Ravi Teja as hero. SK Pictures that made debut with hit flick Premiste is producing this film as production no. 2. Jyothika is the heroine. Tabu plays an important role. Haresh makes his debut as director. Sarvesh Murari (AOR fame) handles photography.

Mega Super Good bags Anna Tangi rights
Mega Super Good banner that is currently producing Annavaram (Pawan Kalyan) and Andala Ramudu (Sunil) has bagged the Telugu remake rights of Kannada blockbuster Annatangi. Om Sai Prakash directed the original version with Siva Raj Kumar as hero. This is a sister sentiment film.

Director Konda expired
Director Konda who was doing a film called 'Clean Bowled' with Raja, Rajiv Kanakala and Siva Balaji in the main leads was expired at 3 am on the morning 6th December due to cardiac arrest. He is survived by his wife and a 3-year old boy. His body is being taken to his home town Gopavaram. Idlebrain.com expresses deepest condolences to the family members of Konda. Gangaraju's film in Jan/Feb
Gangaraju Gunnam who directed and produced Little Soldiers long back is going to direct a film very soon. The bound script for this film is ready and the casting process is currently going on. He is looking forward to cast relatively new guys for this film. This film would be made on Just Yellow media that produced classics like Aithe and AOR. MM Keeravani would score music. This film would be launched in January/February of 2006.

Lakshmi sold for 1.4 cr in Vizag
Venkatesh's latest film Lakshmi is committed by Kranthi Pictures distributors for a fancy amount of 1.4 crores for Vizag territory, as per the sources of idlebrain.com. Kranthi Pictures took a gap of 1 year before committing this film. Business of this film is going brisk in Vizag area with exhibitors committing with advances as Venkatesh had great run in this territory for all his blockbusters. Lakshmi would be releasing with more than 20 prints on 14th January in Vizag area.

Konda Krishnam Raju's Bharat Chandra
Konda Krishnam Raju who is currently producing Sri Ramadasu has bought the dubbing rights of Malayalam blockbuster Bharat Chandra starring Suresh Gopi. Konda Krishnam Raju happened to see this film when he was in Trivendram to shoot for Sri Ramadasu. Inspired by the film, he bought the rights of the film from producer-director Ranji Phanikar. Suresh Gopi and Sriya Reddy play the main leads. This comes as sequel to Police Commissioner that went on the become blockbuster in the past. Bharat Chandra (Telugu) would be releasing on 25th December on the eve of Christmas.

Chiranjeevi's latest film Jai Chiranjeeva would be releasing on 21st December 2005. Trivikram penned story and dialogues. Vijaya Bhaskar directed this film. A street set worth 60 lakhs is being constructed for this film in Hyderabad. The interval episode of this film is currently being shot in Vikarabad with 100's of fighters and junior artists by Stun Siva. Costumes for this film were purchased in countries like Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong. Sameera Reddy plays the female lead. Surender Reddy (Athanokkade fame) directs this film. Valluripally Ramesh produces Ashok on Maharshi Cinema banner. This film would be released either in the last week of Match or first week of April 2006.

Gopichand's film launched
Gopichand's latest film with Meera Jasmine as heroine in the direction of Uday Shankar (Kalisundam Raa fame) was launched at 9:45 am in a temple at Sri Nagar Colony, Hyderabad. A song 'Paluke Bangaramayena' was canned on Meera Jasmine, Sumitra and 50 junior artists. Ramanatha Setty handles camera. This film is being produced by GVG Raju (of Toliprema fame).
