Song shoot for Godavari
Godavari shoot is completed on Monday except for one song on Kamalinee Mukharjee. The crew left to Rajamandry today for shooting this song and they are expected to finish it in a week. Audio of this film is expected to release in the month of February.

Party on 17 February

Surya Kiran (of Satyam fame) will be directing Jagapati Babu soon. This film is going to be produced by N Surya Prakasa Rao on SP Creations banner. This film will be launched on 12th February on the eve of the birthday of hero Jagapati Babu. Jagapati Babu opined that his earlier films were flops because of the lack of publicity by the respective producers. These films are Venkatesh’s Lakshmi (26 lakhs), Allu Arjun’s Happy (24 lakhs), Lawrence’s Style (15 lakhs), YVS’s Devadasu (15 lakhs) and Gopichand’s Ranam (12.5 lakhs). He is going to exhibit these films in Guntur town with the help of K Ramesh Babu (owner of Bhaskar Deluxe in Guntur).

The remaining part of the film will be shot at Hyderabad from 15th of January. Arti Agarwal is playing heroine. This film is remake of Tamil blockbuster Sundara Purushan. Deepti directs this film. NV Prasad and Paras Jain produce this film on Mega Super Good films banner.

Vikram and Mammootty gets awards
Classic Film Society (Singapore) has selected Indian film stars Vikram as Star of India 2005, Mammotty as Supreme star 2005. Vikram and Mammootty will be presented with their awards at a gala function on the 11 February 2006. At Kallang Theater, Singapore. At the same time it will also honor film director Adoor Gopala Krishnana who was recently honored with the Dadasaheb Falke Award.

Nice caption for Bommarillu
‘Love makes life beautiful ‘ is the caption for Siddardha’s Bommarillu that is being produced by Dil Raju. Shooting of this film started today. Muhurat of this film was done on 11th of December with Raja (Hanuman Junction director), Sukumar, Boyapati Seenu and Surender Reddy doing the honors. This film launched a new director Bhaskar. Genelia is the heroine. Bommarillu is expected to release in April/May as summer special.

Asadhyudu almost complete
Kalyan Ram who shocked the film industry with his blockbuster ‘Athanokkade’ is coming up with another film titled Asadhyudu. This film launches another new director Anil Krishna. Valluripally Ramesh Babu produces this film on Maharshi banner. Shooting of this film is complete except for 2 songs. Chakri scores music. This film would be released in the month of February 2006.

The unit of latest release Alex held success meet at Prasanth Kuteer on the afternoon of 31st December. Haranadh Policherla produced and played main lead in this film.
