The official wedding ceremony is a quite private affair, and is witnessed by close family and friends of the couple. The bride looks her best in a traditional, kanji sari designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The bride’s family sported designs by designer Anamika Khanna. Since Upasna is extremely fond of Anamika Khanna’s designs, the designer has created a collection exclusively for the bride’s family. Meanwhile, the groom’s family is seen in eclectic creation by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Holding on to family value and sentiments, the bride wore exquisite ancestral jewelry, gifted by her grandmother.
