Nannapaneni
Rajakumari clones Bollywood heroes
Pelli
Pandiri, which was released a few years back, became a biggest
hit among the small film. Jagapati Babu got a life with that film.
Raasi, who acted as a blind girl in that film, too got instant
recognition. An abhinandana sabha was held to facilitate the success
of the film. Nannapaneni Raja Kumari, who was in Congress then,
was the chief guest. Jagapati Babu made such an impression on
her that she started eulogizing him as the Andhra Raj Kapoor
(May be, the tramp dress of Jagapati Babu in that film made her
make a comment like that).
This
year too she made a sensational comment during the abhinandana
sabha of 'Chiru Navvuto'. She praised that Venu is the
Andhra Amitab Bachhan. May be his height has prompted her
to visualize Venu as Andhra Amitab. After seeing her desperate
attempts to please the heroes, one may start doubting her ambitions
of becoming the lady Dasari of Telugu film industry.
Mahesh
is the best
Krishna
Vamsi, who keeps everything under wrap until the production is
completed, held a press meeting on 15th of December. That meeting
turned out to be the mutual admiration sabha for Mahesh (hero),
Krishna Vamsi (director) and N Rama Lingeswara Rao (producer).
In that meet, Krishna Vamsi categorically stated that none of
his earlier heroes could come as close to the character as Mahesh
has come with his performance. We do neither doubt the judgment
of Krishna Vamsi nor speculate the ability of Mahesh Babu as the
best performer. But what we observed is that Krishna Vamsi made
a couple of films with Nag in the past. Does this statement reveal
his unhappiness with Nag?
On
the other hand, Mahesh Babu stated that for the first time he
worked for a film without any pressure unlike his three earlier
films. Is Mahesh Babu taking a dig at his earlier moviemakers?
EVV
did it again!
EVV
is known for giving statements without doing proper research.
He recently stated that he is doing an experiment for the first
time by canning a sad song as a happy song with hero and heroine
dancing in delirium for the film 'MAMOMACM'. But, it is
not the first time it happened. Our crazy Dasari did it with Chiru
for the only film in that combination, Lankeswarudu. There
is one particular song, 'I am mad', in which Chiru does
a brake dance for a sad song. And that film turned out to be the
biggest flop among the string of flops Chiru got in 1989(Yudda
Bhoomi, Rudra Netra etc). It is none of our concern as it is being
produced by EVV himself. Let him make his experiments.
