Audio release function of Poori Jagannath's 'Amma Nanna Oka Tamil Ammai' (ANOTA) was held at Viceroy Convention Hall, Viceroy Hotel on 7th of April 2003. To suit the title, Poori Jagannath has invited 'Amma Nanna' (Mr. Venkat Rao & Mrs. Anjana) of Chiranjeevi to release the audiocassette.

The function started with the music show by the singers of the film and orchestra of music director Chakri. Here are the details of the songs

Description: This song is a fusion of Indian classical music and western music. The 'Vaatapi Ganapathi' raagam is taken and modified into Channai Chandrama tune. Description: This song is inspired by the 'Mustafa' song from AR Rehman's 'Premadesam'. This song is beautifully picturised on mother (Jaya Sudha) and son (Ravi Teja).

Description: This is a typical duet between lead pair. Specialty of this song is that all the lyrics written for female are in Tamil. You can find the fusion of Telugu and Tamil lyrics in this song.

Description: This song is heavily inspired by the snake song that is being telecasted in M TV and other music channels. Kousalya sang this song well.

Song Name: Taluku Taluku mannadi saruku
Lyrics: Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar
Singers: Smita, Raghu Kunche
Description: This song is a masala song. Pop star Smita and Raghu Kunche sang this song on high pitch for good effect.

Though everybody tried putting up their 'show', it is pretty evident that entire episode of musical program is a classic example of 'Mocktaves', where the singers and orchestra pretended to be singing, but the actual music is coming from a prerecorded CD.

Later the visual clips of the songs were shown on LCD projector. All songs have good feel and neat visualization.

Prakash Raj opined that every actor has very few roles, which would make him/her feel very special. The character of hero's father in this film is such a special one with great scope for histrionics.

At the end of the program, 'amma nanna' (Mr. Venkat Rao & Mrs. Anjana) of the function released the audiocassettes.
