The audio release of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starer Athanokkade was a treat for NTR family fans. Hari Krishna and Rama Krishna graced the function, after the long wait the fans were still excited and were will with full steam while shouting slogans in praise of the stars.

The function was held at Ramanaidu studios, Hyderabad. As soon as the guests were called on to the dais the function took off. D Ramanaidu released the audio and first cassette was given to Hari Krishna. Speaking first was Parachuri Venkateshwara Rao who said, "I am sure Kalyan Ram will become a big star one day. He has all the zeal and enthusiasm that is required for a star of his age. He faced failure in his earlier movies but these will act like stepping stones for his future success. He will earn a good name and fame like his grand father."

Ramanaidu who spoke next was very choosy with the words that he said, "I wish he becomes a big star, I wish him all the best. I am also sure that the music of the film will do great business and help in the success of the film." These two were the only guests who spoke; a trailer of the film was played for the audience. Fans were screaming at the top of their voices to show approval for the film.

Songs from the film were projected, a total of four songs were projected. The fans appreciated the music provided by Mani Sharma, but Mani Sharma was not available to receive the praise. Also present at the function were, director Surendra, M L Kumar Choudhary, Gemini Kiran, Chalapathi Rao, GV, editor Gautham Raju, Stun Shiva and others. The programme was anchored by Jhansi, Maruti Music has bought the music rights of the film.
