Happy Days is an youth film that could be watched by entire family - Sekhar Kammula
Speaking on the occasion Sekhar Kammula said, “I Met BN Reddy (CBIT) after preparing the story. I started it only after I took permission from him to shoot the film in CBIT. I would like to thank Big Music for releasing the audio of this film in the market. Vijay C Kumar’s cinematography would help the film a lot. Marthand K Venkatesh editing is too good. We started the shoot in November. All of us go through student life. But we have a derogatory feeling about youth flicks. Generally entire family does not prefer to watch a youth film together for some obvious reasons. Happy Days is one youth film that entire family could comfortably watch it. We had all new actors in this film. Dil Raju watched the film and encouraged me a lot. There is lot of preference to music and lyrics in this film. Mickey J Meyer gave wonderful music. He is an excellent director. Veturi and Vanamali penned lyrics. I hope that the film would be liked by one and all.”

The current generation of students can take Sekhar Kammula as an inspiration - BN Reddy
BN Reddy said, “We stopped giving permissions for shoots in our CBIT college because it is a disturbance to the students. But we made an exception to Sekhar Kammula. We gave the permission and did not charge a single penny. He portrayed the joys and sorrows of college life in this film. I produced a film titled pelli kaani pelli in 1974 and it was a flop. With that setback, I left film industry. The title of this film will help the craze. I wish that this film would run for 200 days. Sekhar Kammula is a simple guy. The current generation of students can take him as an inspiration.”

Happy Days made me feel bad that I could not produce it - Dil Raju
Dil Raju said, “Sekhar Kammula is not just a sensible director, but a gusty producer too. When I watched this film, I felt bad because I could not able to produce such a good film. I am doing this film for the entire Andhra Pradesh. All new actors performed well. They will have bright future in film industry. Mickey J Meyer is going to the next AR Rehman of Telugu film industry. The entire team worked hard for making a great film. This film will make everybody nostalgic about their college days.”

Music director Mickey J Meyer said, “I would like to thank Sekhar Kammula for giving me this opportunity. All songs in this film are wonderful. Veturi and Vanamali penned nice lyrics.”
