Audio of Jagapati Babu’s latest film ‘Samanyudu’ in the direction of C Ravi Kumar was released at a function organized in Ravi Narayana Reddy auditorium in Jubilee Hills on the night of 7th October. NTR, T Subbirami Reddy, D Rama Naidu, VB Rajendra Prasad, Jagapati Babu, Kamna Jetmalani, Venu, SV Krishna Reddy, Ravi C Kumar, Rajiv Kanakala, Vandemataram Srinivas and Archana (Veda) attended this function.

T Subbirami Reddy released the cassette and gave the first unit to D Rama Naidu and the second unit to NTR. Producer Venkat donated a lakh each to Old Age Welfare Home (Miyapur), Association Sai Courier, Swayamkrushi Association, Shraddha Institute for Mentally Handicapped and Old Age Home (Srisailam).

Speaking on the occasion chief guest T Subbirami Reddy said, “I met Jagapati Babu 20 years back when he was doing business in Vizag. I recognized talent in him and asked him to join films as hero. I also expressed my willingness to produce a film with him. I am very happy today as my prediction became true and he turned out to be one of few good heroes in Telugu film industry who have clarity. Jagapati Babu has good music taste too. All the films for which I attended functions were hits. I am sure that Samanyudu music will also be a hit.”

I will produce a film with Jagapati Babu as hero - D Rama Naidu
Guest D Rama Naidu said, “I liked the charity orientation of the producer and hope that all other producers follow him. Jagapati Babu did justice to all the roles he did. I am going to produce a film with Jagapati Babu as hero.”

VB Rajendra Prasad said that he is happy to hear Jagapati Babu being called as producer’s hero.

Samanyudu will have the shades of Gayam - Jagapati Babu
Hero Jagapati Babu said, “When I was working for my father’s business Bloomingdale in Vizag, T Subbirami Reddy offered me a film chance. D Rama Naidu is my father’s family friend. NTR told me recently that he wants to see me in a film like Gayam. I am happy to say that there are shades of Gayam in Samanyudu film.”

This function is attended by 100’s of Jagapati Babu’s fans. Suma anchored the event and Aditya music bought audio rights.
