Music of Gopichand’s latest movie Sankham was launched at a function organized in Taj Banjara on the night of 19 August. Trisha is the heroine and Thaman S is the music director.

Prabhas attended this function as chief guest. The other guests include VV Vinayak, B Gopal, VN Aditya, KS Rama Rao, C Kalyan, Pokuri Babu Rao, Bhogavally Prasad, ML Kumar Chowdary, Jayanan Vincent etc.

VV Vinayak launched audiocassette and gave the first unit to C Kalyan. Prabhas launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to B Gopal.

Speaking on the occasion Gopichand said, “I kept some conditions about budget when I signed this movie. The producers stuck to their word and made sure that the entire movie is rich with quality. This is second consecutive movie in the direction of Siva. The reason for doing this movie is the story. There are seven songs scored by Thaman in this movie. I wish that this movie will bring double profits to the producer.”
