Audio of Nagarjuna’s latest film Sri Ramadasu was held at the holy shrine of Bhadrachalam on the evening of 16th January 2006. RP Meena, SP of Khammam district released the audio cassette and gave the first unit to I Vekateswara Reddy (Chairman of Temple Trust Board), Rama Krishnam Raju (EO of temple) and priests Krishnmacharyulu and Ramachadra Swamy. JK Bharavi announced that they are dedicating Sri Ramadasu audio to Lord Sri Rama.

Speaking on the occasion RP Meena said that it is a momentous occasion to release audio of this film at the temple of Bhadrachalam.

Lyric writer Chandrabose said that there is Rama word in all 19 songs of the album, which is an experiment.

ANR said, “It is very appropriate to release audio of this film in Bhadrachalam. I am feeling lucky to have acted in this devotional epic. There are five heroes for Sri Ramadasu film. These heroes are Konda Krishnam Raju (producer), JK Bharavi (writer), K Raghavendra Rao, MM Keeravani and Nagarjuna.”

Hero Nagarjuna said, “People have already started calling me Ramadasu. This album consists of 19 songs. I am sure that these songs would appeal to the music lovers. Sri Ramadasu is the first bhajana kaarudu in Telugu. He built a temple for Lord Rama 400 years back when Tanisha was ruling this land. Sri Ramadasu is an inspiring story. Fans will call me Ramadasu after the release of this film.”

Music director MM Keeravani said, “During the production of this film K Raghavendra Rao and Konda Krishnam Raju acted like Ramadasu and Tanisha respectively. K Raghavendra Rao stayed away from luxuries and pleasures in order to make Sri Ramadasu film. I am a huge fan of ANR and watched Andala Ramudu many times. I am feeling lucky to scored music for a film that has ANR playing a role in it. I did my maximum number of films to Nagarjuna.”

Heroine Sneha said, “I am feeling happy to do the role of Kamala in Sri Ramadasu film. I feel lucky to act with a legend like ANR and his son Nagarjuna. I learnt Telugu with an inspiration from ANR. I have become fan of Nagarjuna after looking at his performance in this film.”

Venu Madhav and Ali entertained the crowds with comedy. This function was also attended by Sneha, Archana, Nagababu, Suman, Venu Madhav, Ali, Sameer, Siva Parvathy, Raghunatha Reddy, Raghubabu, Suddala Ashok Teja, Hema, Romi Sri Sai and others.
