Audio of Gemini was released at a function organized at Rama Naidu Studios on the evening of 15th September 2002. Prior to the function, the duo of RP Patnaik and Usha participated in 'Ata kavala Pata kavala' program on 14th September and selected Suresh of Begumpet as the lucky man to release Gemini audio.

The audio function started with a magic show by Mr. Ramana. Music director RP anchored the event. Mr. Suresh (winner) is called upon dais to release audiocassette of Gemini. When Mr. Suresh opened the box, the audiocassette is amiss. Then the magician did the magic and found the cassette in the safe hands of BA Raju, the editor of Superhit film magazine. Mr. Suresh gave away the first album to Venky.

Speaking at the press conference, RP Patnaik opined that everybody was looking forward for the combination of RP and Venky. Hopefully Gemini would satisfy all the people who eagerly waited for the audio of Gemini. He also thanked Ramani Bharadwaj for letting him use the famous 'O Podu' tune from Tamil for Gemini title song.

RP Patnaik told that audio of Gemini would be released by fans with help of Suresh movie distributors in fifty selected centers across AP on 16th of September. He is also explained about Gemini audio competition (click here for details)

Hero Venkatesh felt that the style of RP in making music is very different from other music directors and commended the ease at which RP comes up with tunes just by humming it to get Okayed. Venky told that Gemini is a mass film that is told in a class style. Gemini stands as a different light entertaining mass film. He also said that there is no heavy dialogues or traditional melodrama in this film. He said he is playing the role of a Rowdy who starts as an irresponsible guy and mends his ways after getting across a sincere police officer. He also told that there is an under current love story in this film. Venky mentioned that in his earlier films he was uncomfortable doing scenes, which involves smoking, as he does not smoke in real life. Likewise, in this film Venky is forced chew beeda (Gutka) and it took a while for him to enact paan-chewing guy's role. He gave his trademark pose of Gemini (which you will find along with Logo) and told that he has same kind of mannerism and pose for the entire film.

But it was the dialogue writer Posani Krishna Murali who stole the show. He said that though the original is a Tamil film, he worked it around to suit Telugu nativity. The story has the backdrop of Vijayawada, Gunadala and Poranki. He said that Venky is playing the role of Veeramachineni Gemini, who stays in Padamatilanka. He also told a mass dialogue in Gemini which goes like - Donga debba teeyadaaniki nenu pakistanodini kaadu .. padamatilanka vaadini! He said that national award winner Murali is acting as Commissioner Surendra Nath Chowdary, which as shades of Vyas, Umesh Chandra, Surendra (current SP of Vijayawada) and Seetaramanjaneyulu (current SP of Guntur). He said that his earlier two films with Venky - Pavitra Bhandam and Pelli Chsukundam - were hits and this film would also become a hit.

Bhairavi thanked Venkatesh for making her learn more about acting and camera. She opined that working for Gemini is a lifetime opportunity and it is going to be a turning point of her life. She said that she is playing a role of Hindi girl in Vjayawada.

Producer D Suresh Babu mentioned that AVM is the banner that inspired Dr. Rama Naidu to start Suresh Production. He also told that AVM is in this field for the past 55 years and he likes this AVM style of treating movie making as business and getting profits out of it.

Towards the end of the program, singer Usha sang the pallavi of solo female song - Dil Diwana Main Haseena - from the film.
