GMR – RGIA (a peoples voluntary movement against Global Warming) has organized the ‘Hyderabad Unplug’ event on the evening of 3rd May at Mountain Heights, Shilparamam, Hyderabad from 7:30 pm to 80:30 pm. Ileana graced this event to start the lights off count down at 7:29 pm. Parts of Hyderabad has voluntarily switched off the lighting during this period to support this movement.

Karunya (Indian Idol) performed a live show at the location. Sekhar Kammula, Dinaz, Vamsi Krishna (Happy Days) and Pullela Gopichand too attended this function to pledge his support.
