Romantic, youthful film: Madhura Sridhar Reddy
Debut director Sridhar Reddy said: “When I am making my entry as a director, it has the backing of my friends and well-wishers. They came as a single team and extended me all moral courage. I am a big fan of Manirathnam films. Latest, I am greatly inspired by directors like Sekhar Kammula and Krissh. I wholeheartedly want to make good films like them. I will do my best. I thank Lagadapati Sridhar for giving me this opportunity to turn into a director. I will hundred percent stand up the expectations of all those who supported me and Sridhar as well. Snehageetham is a romantic and youthful film. We are going to select the best of the artistes and playback singers for this film. Music is given prominent place in this project.”

Wonderful script after 6 months: Lagadapati Sridhar
Lagadapati Sridhar said: “For the last six months, I have been frantically searching for good scripts. At this time, I happened to hear one from Sridhar Reddy and I got instantly thrilled. The same story was narrated by storywriter Kishore, which further enhanced my confidence levels. I immediately accepted to take up the film. I knew Sridhar Reddy when he marketed the audio of my film Evadi Gola Vadidhe. He was so honest that he came to me and said the result of the audio as to how many cassettes were sold, besides paying me the amount which he thought was reasonable and I never expected that at all. Next time, he did a wonderful job for the film Style, which sold more than one lakh cassettes. Sridhar came out with a package which I felt was very professional. I am convinced that he is a thoroughly passionate about directing a beautiful love story. I am sure; he will become a good director like a Sekhar Kammula or Krishh. I am thankful to all who are coordinating with the project.”

He further said that enthusiastic candidates who want to become artistes could participate in the star hunt. They should be in the age group of 18-25 and should not have worked in any film, so far. The fresh playback singers will be given the fillip, he added. He also introduced the technicians on this occasion. All the speakers wished the unit grand success.
