Director Bharat who could not deliver a successful film so far is producing a film now in his own direction. This film is titled as 'Cheekatilo - The Settlement'. Sai Kumar, Vinod Kumar and Gulabi are playing main leads. The muhurat of this film was held today. B Gopal and SV Krishna Reddy did the honors.

Director Bharat said that this film is about two underworld guys falling in love with a girl. Vinod Kumar is playing the role with negative shades. He opined that though he did not deliver a hit, he could get good name as technical director. Since other producers are putting restrictions in terms of budget and story, he decided to produce this film on his own.

Regular shooting of this film would start in this month and would be completed by November. Bharat is planning to release Cheekatilo for Sankranthi 2006
