The new movie of Nandamuri Balakrishna on Vaishnavi Cinama banner was launched on October 10 (Vijayadasami day) at State Art Gallery, Hyderabad. It is produced by S. Krishna Prasad (who earlier made blockbusters like Vamsanikokkadu, Aditya 369 with NBK). Victory Venkatesh clapped the muhurt shot on NBK and heroine Priyamani. Senior director K. Raghavendra Rao switched on the camera. SS. Rajamouli rendered the first shot direction. Mahadev, protégé of Rajamouli, makes his debut as director with this film. The regular shoot had commenced and will continue in Malaysia and Rajahmundry in a single schedule. The shoot will be finished in February, according to the producer.

The cast includes: Deepak, Brahmanandam, Chandramohan, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Krishna Bhagwan, Pradeep Rawat, Chalapati Rao, M. Balaiah, Riyaz, Ahuti Prasad, Sana, Jhansi, Surekha Vani, Hema, Rajitha and others.
