YVS Chowdary attributes his success as director to his deity NTR. It was NTR who infused movie passion in him and inspired him to become film director. After proving himself as successful director and producers with consecutive blockbusters on Bommarillu Vari banner, YVS Chowdary got an opportunity to work with Bala Krishna Nandamuri in the form of Okka Magadu (One and Only).

YVS Chowdary is going to show Bala Krishna in a new dimension in each and every frame of the film. For a change Chintapally Ramana who penned dialogues for love flicks like Toli Prema, Tammudu, L3 and Devadasu is penning dialogues to this Bala Krishna film. Posani Krishna Murali is roped into give mass flavor in story, screenplay and dialogues departments. Mani Sharma who gave music to industry hits of Bala Krishna like Narasimha Naidu and Samarasimha Reddy is going to score music. Chandrabose is going to have a single card for this film as he is penning all seven songs. Vijay who composed fights for Simhadri, Mass and Devadasu is going to compose fights for Okka Magadu.

YVS Chowdary is an expert at showing heroines in the most seducing style on screen. And he is picking up two heroines with nice physique who never worked with Bala Krishna in the past.

Sri Satyanarayana temple always played a crucial part in success of Bommarillu Vari banner. Music sittings of Bommarillu Vari’s debut film Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo was done at Annavaram. Audio Cassette second film Seetayya was put at the feet of Satyanarayana Swamy. Muhurat shot of Devadasu film was done at Annavaram. To continue this sentiment and success sage, the muhurat of Bala Krishna’s film Okka Magadu too was held Annavaram on 28th August at 11:03 am. At the same time, Mani Sharma started composing songs simultaneously in Hyderabad.

Regular shooting of this film will start on the second half of October and would complete the shoot in a single schedule that lasts till February 2007. Okka Magadu will be releasing on 28th April as summer gift. Incidentally NTR’s Adavi Ramudu is also released on the same day.
