Muhurat of Prabhas's latest film in the direction of B Gopal was held at Annapurna Studio's glasshouse at 8:30 am today. Aanam Goapala Krishna Reddy - once upon a time trendsetting Nizam distributor - is producing this film on Ram Sai Films banner. ANR gave the clap on lead pair of Prabhas and Arti Agarwal. Union Minister U Krishnam Raju switched on the camera and Dr. Rama Naidu directed the first shot.

A pressmeet was held at the preview theaters of Annapurna studios. Speaking to press U Krishnam Raju said that the producer Aanam Gopala Krishna Reddy showed the potential of Andhra Box Office in Nizam by distributing major films and there by becoming a trendsetter.

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna told the muhurat dialogue of the film uttered by Prabhas to Arti Agarwal which goes like 'Maadi Guttaayagudem andi. Memu choochi kottamandi. Chaachi kodataamandi'. Paruchuri said that this film too have the 'rich girl - poor boy' background as the love story. Prabhas plays the character of 'Rama Raju'. This film has forest backdrop like Khaidi and Bobbili Raja. Paruchuri reminded that Krishnam Raju's 'Bhakta Kannappa' was also shot in Guttaayagudem. He said that he is working with story write Rajendra Kumar for the first time.

Producer Aanam Gopala Krishna Reddy said that there would shoot for 4 days in this month. Second half of the month would be used for shooting for the months of June, July and August.

Story Writer Rajendra Kumar said that he has woven the story around hero's character. He also said that this film would have unique episodes and scenes that are not seen in any of other languages films.
