Applause Entertainment (P) Ltd. Today announced its maiden
regional venture 'Tapana', at a star-studded muhurat at
Annapurna Studio in Banjara Hills. Present was Senior Vice
President of Applause Entertainment, Wing Cdr. Ramesh.
Tapana-
Tapana is a film that explores the myriad facets of love,
a complex human emotion that touches the soul and changes
life, forever.
The
film's sensitive narrative revolves around the experience
of a college goer who discovers love at first sight.
A
refreshing change from the popcorn romances; Tapana depicts
love in a realistic light, sprinkled with campus humor and
foot tapping music.
A
youthful and thought provoking family entertainer Tapana
is bound to strike a chord with the audience.
The
film stars Prabhudeva, Siddarth, and Mahi. At the helm of
affairs is debutante director Dhanraj Tejas.
About
Applause-
Indian corporates, a select few at that, have recently ventured
into the entertainment industry. Amongst the forerunners
is Applause Entertainment (P) Limited, a film and TV production
house backed by the Aditya Birla Group.
Combining young talent and business acumen, Applause Entertainment

Speaking
on this occasion, the producer Wing Commander Ramesh said
that Applause Entertainment would do any thing that has
to do with entertainment. They are currently producer a
film titled 'Dev' featuring Amiab, Fardeen Khan and Kareena
Kapoor. Applause Entertainment has also plans to venture
into Tamil and Bengali films. Applause Entertainment has
plans to enter the theater and TV industry in Telugu, Hindi
and Tamil languages.
This
film Tapana would be completed in a single schedule. It's
a musical youth love story. The director Tejas said that
this film deals with two contrasting parallel love stories
between a young couple and old couple.
Hotshot
film trailers-maker Junaid is making his big screen debut
as an editor with this filmTapana.
