The muhurat of Supergood films Vidyardhi was held
today at Annapurna studios with much fanfare. The
guest who graced this occasion include Hari Krishna,
Jagapati Babu, Uday Kiran, Tarun, Jeevitha, D Rama
Naidu, Allu Arvind, MS Raju, NV Prasad, Ashok Kumar.

Chowdary said that his banner Supergood films has
introduced many new technicians and actors to the
film industry. And now he is introducing his elder
son Ramesh as a hero in a film titled Vidyardhi. He
said that 50% of the film would be having Hyderabad
as backdrop and remaining 56% as Mumbai. Bali who
worked as an assistant to Shankar (Jeans) and Bhagyaraja
is making his debut as director through this film.
Heroine
Mamata Zhaveri acted in a few TV commercials and a
couple of video albums. She is correcting acting in
a couple of Tamil films. She is making her debut as
heroine in Telugu with Vidyardhi.
Executive
producer Vakada Appa Rao said that Vidyardhi is a
different film unlike the youth films that are coming
in recent times. This student role in the film has
lots of responsibilities as well. Three lyricists
- Acharya, Naveen and Johnny - are getting introduced
through this film.
Dr.
Rama Naidu gave the clap. Hari Krishna switched on
the camera. SV Krishna Reddy directed the first shot.
The first schedule of this film would be completed
by 27th of this month and its getting ready for the
release by April 2004 as Summer gift.
