Dil Raju said, “Akasamantha entered into 3rd week today. We expected positive response for this movie. But the response has exceeded our expectations. It has become a commercial hit as we made it in low budget. The first week share of the film is double the budget. We made double profit in the first week itself. This film will run for 100 days in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vizag. It will run for 10 weeks in all district head quarters. The family crowds and youth are loving Akasamantha. This film was released with 30 prints and we will add more prints after the elections are over.”

G Venkatraman who did the role of Trisha’s boyfriend said, “I did a Hyderabad film titled Angrez in the past. Akasamantha is close to my heart. It has a beautiful story about relationships. I did a curious role of Sardarji in this movie. This king of story happens in everybody’s life. Telugu heroine romancing a Sardar boy is an innovative concept. I had to grow beard for 40 days for the role in this movie.”
