Nagarjuna’s Gaganam will be releasing in the second week of November. This film is directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Dil Raju in association with Matinee Entertainments banner. Nagarjuna, Dil Raju and Bharat Reddy attended this press meet -

Dil Raju said, “The postproduction of Gaganam is going on now. We are planning to release both Telugu and Tamil versions in the second week of November. It is a 2-hour film and it deals with hijack.”

Gaganam is a honest commercial film - Nagarjuna
Nagarjuna said, “Gaganam is a thriller with action backdrop. I am doing the role of a commando. The director has taken Kandahar incident as an inspiration to the story. This film deals with the drama among people of different mind-sets when a flight is high-jacked. The director has studied how commandos work and how the government react in such times. Gaganam is a honest commercial film. It will be a different film in my career. Dil Raju is producing the Telugu version and Prakash Raj is doing Tamil version. It will be an inspirational film and the audiences have to watch it with an open mind. Telugu people will be proud of this movie.”

Gaganam is an intelligent film and it’s like a mind game - Nagarjuna
He also said, “Gaganam deals with three aspects of hijack. That is the mentality of the flight passengers, commandos dealing of situation and Government's strategic reactions. Around 200 passengers were forced to stay in flight for three days of highjack. There will be good drama and action in the movie. But there will not be any songs. I was laughing loudly few times when Radha Mohan narrated me the story. It is an intelligant film and it’s like playing a mind game. Prakash Raj did exceptionally well in this movie. This film is simultaneously shot both in Telugu and Tamil. Though it was difficult to mouth Tamil dialogues, I got used to it because I was brought up in Chennai for some time.”
