Shoot of Junction, starring Paruchuri Ravindranath (son of dialogue writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao) was complete by 90 percent. Launched on May 8th on Leo Entertainments banner in the direction of Anil Krishna, Junction is an action film. Naina, a Bangla and Oriya actress is making her debut in Tollywood. It is produced by B. Ramakrishna. A press meet was arranged today (July 12th) at Ramanaidu cine village, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao (story and dialogues writer) said: "I don't have the financial support to produce the film for my son. That's why we have given the best script and dialogues. The subject is about the prevailing social conditions in the country. It also has the commercial love theme, which is common, either for the rich or poor."

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said: "The film began as a moderate project, but soon became a big venture with a very big star cast, consisting of a number of leading comedians and character artistes. It is an action film. We can't say much about our boy Ravi. It is for the audience to judge his performance after watching the film."

Director Anil Krishna said: "We have completed four schedules. The present fifth schedule consists of the last leg of the talkie and songs canning. We are planning to release the audio on August first half, and the screen hit by month end. The film will bring good name to Ravi and Naina. Generally, everybody waits for the green signal to come up at the junction. But, the characters in the film wait for the red light. This forms the main theme. We have introduced new music director John Salmon and his score for songs and background is superb."

Bhanuchander, who plays a vital role, said: "I cherish a special bond with Paruchuri Brothers, who worked for most of my blockbusters. I feel it my duty to play an important role in Junction. I wish Ravi a grand hit with this film." Heroine Naina said that she played a mass character in the film. She further praised the ease of hero Ravi, who in turn sought the blessings of the audiences. Senior artiste Pavala Syamala also spoke.

The cast of the film includes: Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Venu Madhav, Asha Saini, Babu Mohan, Jayaprakash Reddy, Siva Prasad and others. Camera is by Venkat RP.
