Nandi award winning director and producer P Sunil Kumar Reddy is currently producing and directing a supernatural thriller titled ‘Missing’. The unit of the film arranged a press meet today. Here are the excerpts –

Director and producer P Sunil Kumar Reddy said, “I am basically an engineering graduate and after graduation I ran a couple of tabloids in Delhi and Vizag for a few years. I produced and directed a silent film called ‘Silence Please’ and then followed it by Hero and Prayatnam. Hero (a film for children) won 3 Nandi awards. I also made a short film called Chance and that film made it to Cairo International Film Festival.”

“All the films I made so far are art films. For the first time I am doing a commercial film with ‘Missing’. Missing is a supernatural thriller that revolves around 3 resident doctor girls played by Sunaina, Anita Patil and Niya (debut). This film has the backdrop of a hospital. Though this film deals with supernatural powers, we are presenting it in a rational style. We are also showing how negligence by doctors leads to chaos. 80% of the shooting is completed so far. There are three songs in the film. We shot these songs in Kerala under the choreography of Kaladhar. Raghu (brother of Ravi Teja), Pruthvi and Sangeet (debut) are playing male leads. Saketh Sairam is composing music. I am introducing a couple of lyricists (Kiranmayi and Murthy) with this film. This is production no. 4 on Sravya Films banner. We are planning to release the film and audio in the month of August.”, he added.

Actress Sunaina said, “I am basically a Telugu girl born and brought up in Nagpur. Missing is my third film after 10th Class and Something Something. I have signed a Tamil film recently."
