Priyadarshini Ram who made his debut as director with Manodu film is currently directing another film titled ‘Toss’ with Raja, Upendra, Kamna and Priyamani in the main leads. The producer arranged a press meet to share the progress -

Producer D Amarnath said, “We started the shooting of the film in low profile and two schedules are complete so far. When we went to Bangalore to sign Upendra, he was so impressed with the narration. The content of the film is good. Raja is doing in a complete action role.”

Director Priyadarshini Ram said, “I was in the media for the past 25 years and learnt to narrate a complete story in 30 second ad commercial as an ad-film maker. It takes lot of skill to narrate a story for 2 and half hours. When I went to narrate story to Upendra, he gave me 10 minutes. He listened to the story and discussed about it for 5 hours. ‘Bomma Borusa’ is the tagline of the film. This film is a stylish film in the lines of Dus and Musafir. I decided upon the title as Toss. Since world cup is also starting, Toss will be relevant when the film releases.”

Upendra said, "I stopped directing films 5 years back. My last directorial venture was Upendra. I was traveling towards Mantralaya one day and I was surrounded by the Telugu people who recognized me. They asked me why I am not doing Telugu films anymore. It surprised me. The next day itself Ram narrated me the story.”

Raja, Kamna Jetmalani and Priyamani also spoke during the occasion.
