Success meet of Sankranthi film Lakshmi was held at Rama Naidu studios today evening. The unit of the film met with the press to convey their gratitude to the audience of Andhra Pradesh. This meet was attended by Venkatesh, Charmme, VV Vinayak, Ramana Gogula, Nallamalupu Bujji, Chalapati Rao, Akula Siva, Stun Siva, LB Sriram, Sarvanand and Madhusudhan Reddy.

Lakshmi collected a share of 9 crores - VV Vinayak
Director VV Vinayak said, “It is because of Venkatesh, we could witness so much of turnout of ladies on the day one of the release. Suresh Babu extended his fullest cooperation for the quick release of this film. Lakshmi is a woman’s title. We had some apprehensions when we said the title to Venkatesh. But Venkatesh welcomed the title wholeheartedly. In order to clarify it as hero’s film, we kept the tagline of the film as ‘The Powerful Man’. The lyric of Lakshmi Bava also helped in clarifying the audiences. Lakshmi collected a share of 9 crores in the first week.”

I had a gut feeling that Lakshmi would become hit - Venkatesh
Hero Venkatesh said, “I had a gut feeling right from the title announcement that Lakshmi is going to hit the bull’s eye. I would like to thank story writer who blended all emotions into the story. Ramana Gogula calls me mama and he promised that he would deliver a blockbuster music for Lakshmi. He kept his word by giving wonderful music. People say that I look good in Lakshmi and I would like to give that credit to the cinematographer Chota K Naidu. Stun K Siva composed nice introduction fight. I liked the way my character is designed in this film. VV Vinayak has lots of clarity in his direction.”

This is my 3rd consecutive hit with Vinayak - Chota K Naidu
Cinetographer Chota K Naidu said, “VV Vinayak told me in advance that this film is going to become a big hit. This is my first film with Venkatesh as hero. Venkatesh is good at technical aspects too. I am happy that I gave good visuals for the film that matches with the music of Ramana Gogula. When we wanted some shots at Charminar, producer Nallamalupu Bujji gave complete budget freedom by allowing us to can aerial shots. I feel that introduction of Venkatesh in this film is as good as his introduction scene in Bobbili Raja film. Heroine Charmme is so good that she could become next Soundarya of Telugu film industry. This is my 3rd consecutive film with VV Vinayak and it’s a hatrick.

Comedian LB Sriram said, “Lakshmi is a well packaged wholesome family film. VV Vinayak is good at narrating old stories in a new way. There is good sentiment and comedy value in this film.”

Storywriter Akula Siva said that Lakshmi is creating records all over. Comedy actor Venu Madhav said that people started recognizing him as tiger with Lakshmi film. Heroine Charmme said that she is feeling good as she started getting hits. a
