Manyam Entertainments production no. 5 was titled as ‘Aakasa Ramanna’. The title announcement function was done at Durgam Cheruvu on the night of 28 December. This film stars Allari Naresh, Sivaji, Rajiv Kanakala, Meera Jasmine and Gowri Pandit in the main leads. Ashok directs this film.

Varun Sandesh unveiled the title and logo of the film.

Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Manyam said, “This is the fifth venture on Manyam entertainments banner. I was disappointed when my earlier film Hero flopped. During that time Ashok came and narrated the script. The script is so good that I could able to get the dates of three heroes who are busy with several films. It is a screenplay based film. Chakri provides music. It was EVV who suggested the title and he transferred it to us. Sreeram who worked with Ravi K Chandran handles cinematography. The technical team of the film is young. We started the shoot on 4 of this month and complete the shoot by 10 January. We aim to release the film in the last week of February.”

No heroes, only 8 characters – Allari Naresh
Allari Naresh said, “There are no heroes in this film, but for eight important characters. One of these eight characters is Aakasa Ramanna. Akasa Ramanna is like a brain teaser. It is a screenplay based script. After Gamyam, I found this to be the most impressive script. There is comedy as well as suspense in this movie. Most of the film is shot during the night time.”

Sivaji said, “I am doing the role of a flirt in this film. I do not know much about the other characters as my scenes so far does not involve interaction with any of the others. It is an interesting project.”

Rajiv Kanakala said, “Akasa Ramanna is made with a different script. It is a sensible film with commercial elements. I feel fortunate to get this project.”

Rao Ramesh said that he is doing an interesting role of ACP.

Director Ashok said, “I would like to thank the three busy heroes who accepted this project. I would like to talk more about the film on the day of music launch.”
